Bradley Wins NH SD 3

Just got this email:

I don’t know if anyone is paying attention to the SD3 special election results, but Jeb is CLEANING HOUSE!!!!!  He has won 11 of the 12 towns reporting so far – including democratic towns – and currently is winning with 61% of the vote!!!!!!

The people are MAD AS HELL!!!!

It’s done. Bradley wins. See the results here.

Kevin Smith of Cornerstone Policy Research offers an assessment of the results that pretty much sums it all up:

"The voters in Senate District three sent a resounding message to the rest of the New Hampshire Senate tonight by electing Jeb Bradley: In New Hampshire, values matter.  Jeb represented those who wish to protect the definition of marriage, keep taxes low, and reject bizarre and silly bills like the ‘bathroom bill’.  Tonight’s election result was a clear repudiation of the House’s out-of-touch radical agenda."

Yep. It’s a small step, but an important one as the battle for the NH Advantage is joined…

    Of course, Putney. It’s only news when one of your wackadoo candidates wins. I forgot. Well guess what, Putney? Granite Staters have had their fill of the garbage you guys (sorry if I offend– should it be “gals” or some combo of the two?) offer– bathroom perverts and the like. You and your debased lifestyles are NOT the NH way!

    Sorry Doug, it would be news if a candidate from the minority party in that district wins, not in an overwhelming Republican district like this. For example, it would be news if a Republican wins in Concord for State Senate, not the other way around.
    And no matter how you try to cheapen and trash the issue, rights for transgendered people is a serious issue. It is unfortunate how you placed this issue in a sewer.
    Tolerance and live and let live are the NH way.
