The UK’s got problems, but it’s also got progressives, which means two things. They caused it, whatever it is, and their plan to “cure” it will make it worse. That’s not to say there aren’t those within the Labour government or the progressive establishment (or employed by the government) who don’t mean well. The issue is that their solution to everything is more government, and more government is almost always the problem.
That’s not water you’re throwing on that fire, it’s gasoline.
Yes, the UK has a serious issue with (sexual) violence against women, but it is not the least bit serious about fixing it. This is more window dressing—another progressive Potemkin village.
The statistics also show that every day about 200 rapes are recorded by the police, and many more go unreported. Hundreds of thousands of children are estimated to be sexually abused every year.
The government also wants to support victims who say failures by police and delays in court are worse than the offences themselves. More than half of rape and stalking cases collapse because victims drop out of the process.
Women and girls are raped at alarming rates, and the police response is pathetic, but indoctrinating boys profiled as budding misogynists isn’t going to have any impact because most of them will be white Brits with saucy mouths, and they aren’t the problem.
Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of pasty lads roaming about the empire who will commit violence against women, but the source of the surge is cultural. Britain’s rape problem is a result of its borderless open immigration policy. The rape and grooming gangs are all men from third-world countries, where women are property, and women who are not dressed modestly are literally asking for it.
That’s the mindset, but the UK can’t or won’t be honest about that. Actually, policing it isn’t going to be allowed to cut into the time they spend harassing and arresting people for pointing out such simple truths on social media.
Instead, they’ve taken the Gillette defense. Boys will be boys. It cost Procter & Gamble an $ 8 billion write-off, some decruitment activity, and a healthy dose of not letting angry liberal women manage marketing. Gillette’s customer base is primarily men, some of whom might engage in domestic abuse, but telling them all they are awful isn’t going to result in sales bonuses for management.
They didn’t see it for some strange reason, probably because they were afraid of angry women looking to self-destruct a business the same way modern feminism destroyed their lives.
The UK invited its problem, and now it is looking for an easy out, and my guess is that some angry white women in the UK government have sold men cuckolded to this destructive co-dependent progressive relationship to buy in.
According to the BBC, “high-risk pupils could be sent on behavioural courses as part of the government’s long-awaited strategy to halve violence against women and girls (VAWG) in the next decade.”
The BBC reports that the plan is expected to “focus on preventing the radicalisation of young men.”
“Radicalization,” like a terrorist. Except, in this case, it could be that the thinkers behind the movement are using that word in place of “masculinization.” It’s hard to tell. But as we’ve all seen, puberty is a good time to demasculinize boys.
Ironic choice of words, since there will be little to no attention paid to the radicalization of minorities who come from countries that produce the majority of the violence against women on the planet (and in the UK), and likely political or religious terrorists who will behead random strangers, drive cars through parades, and blow up things like the Ministry of Violence Against Women and Girls.
Responding to the announcement, the domestic abuse commissioner for England and Wales, Dame Nicole Jacobs, said the commitments did “not go far enough”.
She said while the strategy recognised the scale of the challenge, the level of investment “falls seriously short”.
They have domestic abuse commissioners, but they are not allowed to say, ‘Take this to the Mosques.’ That we need to arrest and prosecute the perpetrators committing the rapes, and we need to put their names and faces in the broadsheets and on the BBC. That is, if you want to reside in His Majesty’s pudgy-fingered empire, you must embrace a culture that has more respect for women than the one you left to come here, and we are willing to do it the hard way.
The problem for women and girls in the UK is that they aren’t willing to do anything meaningful—new carpet and drapes at Number 10, but nothing structural. We wouldn’t want to appear racist (unless that means targeting white and non-Muslim Asian boys).
They’ll spend some money, then spend some more, and women and girls will continue to suffer, not just from violence against women. The continued demasculinization of young men is detrimental to Western culture, families, and the once-great nation of England.
