The late Tom Anderson from Pigeon Forge, TN, was a lay preacher, owner of Farm Journal, an Executive Committee member of the John Birch Society, and a one-time Vice Presidential candidate for the American Party. Have you heard of the International Maritime Organization (“IMO”) founded in 1948? Most folks never have. The IMO is another UN tentacle of power that has plans for a global tax on container ships. The target date is 2027 to tax $100 per metric ton, which would amount to approximately $11-13 billion annually. Sold as a necessary step to reducing carbon emissions, it’s another way to destroy liberty. Until President Trump challenged globalism, the dominance of UN global control, attacking American sovereignty, was never opposed. Through many decades, globalist majorities in Congress were cowardly about defending American Independence. Collectively usurping their own power to declare war, but brave enough to send other people’s sons to war by means of UN/NATO Resolutions requested by the President.
Our Congressional delegates have been completely naive. They vote to abdicate authority while waving the flag on Independence Day. For almost two and a half centuries, we have been an anomaly in history. We owe it to the true meaning of that holiday to recognize our Forefathers’ defiance against despotism. We must not continue, as constituents, to allow our politicians in the Congress to give our liberty away, enabling the UN to control our people through their affiliates such as the Green New Deal – Agenda 21-30, UNESCO , NATO, WHO, and the IMO.
