The recent matter of white South African refugees waving American flags upon their arrival in the United States has more triggers than a gun store. Lefties are losing what passes for their hive mind. And I can’t help but wonder if Mr. Trump and his crew did not orchestrate this process to allow Dems to trip over themselves to fall into another trap.
- These are not military-aged men of color; they are white families.
- They appear patriotic, waving American flags.
- Rather than show up, they reportedly applied for refugee status.
- Democrats are apoplectic.
The so-called part of refugees can’t come up with enough excuses for why this is hypocritical, and they should be sent home. Not to South Africa but to Germany or Denmark, or wherever their ancestors originated. At least one black individual on CNN said the words. But here’s the thing about that. These whit farmers are descended from settlers who have been working that land for longer than African slaves have been in America.
Their ancestors arrived on what was effectively unpopulated territory. They did not displace a large “indigenous” population. Historically, this was not your typical left-wing version of colonialism.
I’m not defending Apartheid. There is no justification for racism on either side, nor does centuries of wrong get corrected by repeating the offenses against. Effort and energy should result in rewards regardless of demographics. But the so-called reverse racists claiming there’s no such thing are no less guilty of crimes against humanity if they result in intimidation, terrorism, theft, assault, or murder based on the color of someone’s skin.
You aren’t trying to make us all better; you are using revenge to accumulate political advantage.
Forcing people off land they’ve worked for hundreds of years, either as a matter of policy, through punitive taxation, or just intimidation, is wrong. Period. But it happens and will likely never end. Any nation that is willing to consider how these refugees can complement their country is likewise free to consider applications for citizenship on whatever terms they desire.
Open borders is a policy instituted as part of displacement theory to destabilize a culture in pursuit of other means. Typically, a dependency culture that provides an electoral advantage, which leads to democratic socialism, socialism, and communism. Those lured here were attracted under pretenses, doomed to a life not unlike the one they left, perhaps worse. It is a bait and switch. Democrats don’t care about or like minorities, even when they are minorities.
Mr. Trump won the election in part to stop that abuse, and the consideration of white applicants who claim to be politically persecuted is a far more proper use of the immigration system than turning a blind eye to swarms of military-aged men from countries that hate us.
Democrats freaking out about it makes them look like two-faces, racist, assholes (again).
If that was a convenient side effect of what appears to be a more sound migration strategy, then bravo!
As to the fair-haired Dem shouting about sending people back where they came from, gif white South Africans have been working the same farms for longer than black slaves have been in America, do you want to send them home too? Back to whatever nation they were kidnapped from?
