Joe Biden gave his last address to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, and his legacy would have been better served if he passed on the invitation. The speech was long, disjointed, and a shot at Israel, our greatest ally in the Middle East. Joe also tried to reinvent the botched Afghanistan withdrawal and tried to take credit for the end of the Vietnam War. It is no wonder that any time Biden tries to talk about his broad international experience, people repost the quote by Robert Gates:
“I think he has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades,” former Defense Secretary Robert Gates says of Vice President Joe Biden.
Joe Biden thinks that because he has been around for half a century, that time served makes him an expert. Over the last four years, he has shown that he is inept in every aspect of government and leadership. Biden put Israel in the crosshairs on day one of his presidency. This is what he did.
Donald Trump was adept at using sanctions to penalize and control countries that were a threat to America or our allies. There was no better example of the effectiveness of this policy than Iran. Trump tore up the agreement forged between Obama and Iran that would have led to Iran being a nuclear threat. Obama also gave Iran pallets of cash during his two terms. Iran is the biggest supporter of terrorism worldwide, and Obama’s actions made America complicit in this devious and diabolical behavior. Trump not only stopped Iran’s nuclear program but broke their economy with strict sanctions. Iran was no longer in a position to recruit and train people intent on destroying the Western world.
That all changed on Joe Biden’s first day. He lifted the sanctions, re-entered the nuclear agreement, and freed Iran’s cash. He made the country of Iran, one of our most bitter enemies, solvent and operational with the stroke of his pen. He also set the stage for massive unrest in the Middle East, with all of the traditional foes lined up to exterminate Israel. He gave Iran back its swagger so they could play at the same table with Russia, China, and North Korea.
Joe Biden has always had a higher-than-reality opinion of himself. He is the type of person who, when given the power, forgets that he lacks the wisdom to use it. Kamala is of the same ilk. She thinks she can be president, or does she? If she did, she would be out on the road like Trump is. She would be willing to speak to anyone, field any questions, and have an answer ready for whatever was thrown at her. She has none of that.
Kamala Harris is an insecure woman who needs celebrities to inflate her ego. She is incapable of a decision she can live with and defend. She lives by the polls when she should be living for the people. The Middle East, like the border, is a mess, and it is all on Joe and Kamala for its condition. If she goes to the border on Friday, she better be carrying a bag full of I’m sorry notes because she has a lot of people to apologize to. She shares in the mess. I hope she falls by the mess.
