Seattle Riots

The Destruction is the Distraction

We are now seeing the results of a plan that was two years and more in planning. You may have read stories in the 2018 election of how George Soros (yes, that enemy of our country), had poured a lot of money into political races for Attorneys General and District Attorneys.

RightOnline 2012 – I’m gonna have to get the guys to report on this: “Occupy Unmasked”

Certainly, I have done enough posting about the Occupy Wall Street movement, especially here in NH.  Once again, I have another reason to be a bit jealous of the Groksters who went as they had the chance to preview this new movie by Citizens United (yes, THAT Citizens United) covering the OWS as a whole.    … Read more

Dispatch from Future of Journalism Summit / NetRoots Nation foray – Obligatory rag-tag Occupy Providence post.

OK, OK, I know – from the postings thus far, it may seem that I went down for one event but spent my time over at the other: NetRoots Nation.  Non, mon freres!  Frankly, given the drubbing that the Democrats, theLeft, the Unions, and the rest of the associated fellow travelers, that yearly collection of collectivists was a dim bulb affair. Not so much that I am CALLING them dim bulbs (heh!) but that the overall “vibe” of the place (Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI) was not exactly joyous and effervescent. Sure, smiles could be seen (like when friends see friends after a space of time).  But dismal is a good word.  Downer is a better word.

Denial, in what happened and WHY, is probably the best descriptor of the overall mood (where as, Delight could be used for the attendees of the Franklin Center / Heritage Foundation event – but more on that actual set of activities later).

Back to adjectives: Dense.  Yeah, outside the RI Convention Center, across the street, was the most dejected bunch of dingleberries I’d seen in a long time; how the Occupy Wall Street movement has fallen.  Frankly, there is little difference from these folks and the typical Skid Row inhabitants.  And in their rally, it showed.

We had just finished with another activity (heh! In a later post!) when all of a sudden, we heard a lot of yelling, so the group of us quickly went to the front atrium.  Problem: by the time that we arrived, security had already removed them.  However, one of Jim Hoft’s (The Gateway Pundit) folks caught the “mic check” session of the OWS folks pleading with the rest of the NetRoots to come and join them in a march (“hey, we’re the 99% – and so are you!  You are us, and us is you” supplication):

Well, by that time, I got there, spun up the camera, and taped for a while (after the jump).  Two observations:

  • OWS has turned out to be nothing than the “storm troopers of the moment” for the Left.  Like Cindy Sheehan who protested President Bush, especially at his ranch in Texas), once their purpose was done, so was the Left with them.  Sadly, it seems like the OWS folks haven’t figured out that they’ve become mostly tools that have been left by the side of the sidewalk as the only folks that heeded the call of OWS Providence were folks like me with a camera.  I should have gone and spent my time elsewhere.
  • The last scene’s commentary seems appropriate for the entire movement.

Occuppy Wall Street – if you’ve lost Harvard….

Frankly, Occupy Wall Street has pretty much left Occupy Wall Street (with, perhaps, the lone exceptions being San Francisco and Oakland as the only sites still making national news once in a while).  This did catch my eye – as there was an abortive attempt at Hahvahd University to have an Occupy outpost there as … Read more

GrokTV Special Interview: Rep. John Hikel for NH Senate – Question 7 – Contrast the Occupy Wall Street movement with the TEA Party movement

Certainly two of the most talked about political movements of the last three years are Occupy Wall Street and TEA Party.  Pretty much the only thing that they agree upon is that the conflation of Big Government and Big Business has resulted is Crony Capitalism / State Corporatism – and vehemently disagree with the remedy.  … Read more

Ah – the power of the Conservative New Media – turning their own tools against them.

Last night, I put this post up concerning the Occupiers bust of a May Day “general strike”; where there were a number of reports of violence (given their tacit acceptance among them of the “perpetually angry Anarchist” mobsters who respect, well, not many.  In that post was this tubba of a ‘tude with a snare drum who thought it would be absolutely dandy to use a small female cop’s head as a drumstick:

Like many, this OWSer is a coward – running away.  Problem for him is that his face was prominently displayed at the beginning of the clip.  Nice to see that with the extra “push” of kindred and like minded sites like the ‘Grok, the misogynist was caught (yeah, remember, these Occupiers are all about creating / mandating such a wonderful new world they had to have a special “rape free” tent down at Zuccotti Park in NYC).  From Hot Air comes the news that Dim-witted Drummer Dude is going to have a special Date:

Poor Occupiers – can’t you reach out and help them?

Yesterday was May 1 – otherwise known as one of the most wonderful political days of the year (if you are a Socialist or Communist).  It was also supposed to be the same for the OWSers – Occupy Wall Street movement participants as yesterday was supposed to be the Spring of the 99%, the day that the US was supposed to be in the throes of a General Strike when NO one was to work, shop, learn, or play.  Just demonstrate for the “rights” of the 99% against the evil 1%.

Didn’t work out quite that way:

Can you have some compassion for these confused ones?

THESE on the other hand:

#OWS – As Dysfunctional as North Korea?

Is the average #occupier as dysfunctional as North Korea? Think about it. North Korea has no practical use.  If North Korea disappeared tomorrow and materialized on Kepler 22-b, our world would not suffer.  #Occupy, same thing. The NorKs are constantly looking for an excuse to agitate and create conflict.   #Occupy is no different.  There is … Read more

If The Left Really Cared About Women

Progressives are hypocrites, doubly so when it comes to women.  Take rape for example. Based on the gaping void in commentary from the Democrats on more than a dozen acts of sexual assault, including rape, of women at various occupy events around the nation last fall–and those are just the ones that were reported–we can … Read more

Remember When The Tea Party Threw Smoke Bombs At the White House?

From Jonah Goldberg yesterday, over at NRO’s The Corner. Remember When The Tea Party Threw Smoke Bombs At the White House?  Neither do I. The Secret Service was responding Tuesday night to an escalating protest that may have involved one or more smoke bombs being thrown over the White House fence. I know Suckley and … Read more

Prepare For The Barakaclypse

Every one of these was or is a left wing campaign to make leftist dogma look like centrist mantra. They exist to streamline progressive/socialsit thought into mainstream thinking. But they failed and so the latter iterations have become more destructive. Each “movement” has gotten progressively more unruly, progressively more violent.

Has #OWS or #ONH Inspired Local Action?

Nothing says redistribute the wealth like stealing a Generator from Comcast. That’s what 99%er John P. Boisvert Jr., 34, of 5 Red Gate Lane Meredith did during the big power outage. Comcast is a great big company with so much cash they just leave generators laying around. Boisvert was observed “liberating” the generator from its capitalist oppressors and was later arrested for stealing.

Obama Golfs With Guy Who Solicits Whores

I suppose it is the state of media and their love affair with Mr. Obama that when in the midst of a hatchet job on a potential opponent over accusations of sexual misconduct that the leader of the free world gets a pass for golfing with a guy convicted of soliciting prostitutes.

Politco/White House Stenographer Jennifer Epstein

Obama is(sic) played with two White House staffers — Marvin Nicholson and Pete Selfridge — and with high school classmate Bobby Titcomb, according to a pool report. In April, Titcomb was one of four men arrested as part of an undercover prostitution sting. He was later released on $500 bail. In May, Titcomb didn’t appear in court as his lawyer offered a no contest plea

Whatever your own thoughts, prostitution is still illegal in most places and rumor has it the girls are not treated particularly well.  So there is something to be said for the timing and optics given the "influential men treating women as sex objects" smear Politco has been waging on Mr. Herman Cain.  While Cain is defending himself from Obama’s pit bull David Axelrod, most of the Staff at Politco, and a dyspeptic conga-line of publicity-seeking-future-reality-star/potential-tell-all-book-deal-signing gold-diggers, Mr. Obama is casually hitting a little white ball around exclusive Hawaiian country clubs, in golf slacks and a pricey polo, with a guy who solicits sex from whores.

Hey.  Hookers are a shovel ready job, right?!

Do You Beleive In Warrenism?

The Elizabeth Warren notion of who paid for what is no different than the public union employees who cry “but we pay taxes too?”

Really?  If we stopped paying taxes, how would you pay yours?  How would you pay for anything?  (Hint: You’d have to work in the real world.)

Public employees can only pay their taxes after we pay them with ours.  It is like an allowance and subject to the same rules.  If we no longer feel we need or can afford to provide for it, we can choose to stop.

So nothing exists in government (including public sector paychecks, roads, bridges, or US Senatorial lifestyles for those wishing to aspire to them) unless someone else first earns something or creates something that they are willing to exchange for something done by government.

Warrenism and left wing class warfare, however,  turns the relationship upside down.

Warrenism states that those receiving the allowance will not only define how much and how often they are paid (under threat of intimidation, public humiliation, lawsuits, and even imprisonment), they will also decide how it is to be spent and who and what will benefit. The problem with this scenario is that, as has often been said, you eventually run out of other peoples money So Warrenism is actually just another form of economic suicide that ends the way every other socialist hissy-fit has ended; in misery or violence, or more likely plenty of both.

No matter what happens Elizabeth Warren and the left wing elites will be fine.  That should tell you something about who they are and what they really care about.  Power.

#OccupyRapSheet (So Far)

Direct from John Nolte at Big Government, we have a list things that the left wing and Democrats support and we can only assume emulate.

Captain Obvious Gets More Affirmation- And why Democrats MUST Be Removed From Power

I’d like to think I was out in front when declaring that Fast And Furious was a government plan to bring left wing rhetoric to life.   Smoking gun

Or was I just being captain obvious; Democrats secretly selling American guns to violent Mexican criminals so they could later find those guns at crime scenes and use that to make the case for limiting the right to buy or own firearms.  Who could doubt that scenario?  It made perfect sense to me.  It is your typical left wing Shakespearean tragedy, staged to persuade the inattentive rubes who still have some sliver of trust in the government, or believe that the Democrat party just want’s to protect them.

Well this should poke a hole in that balloon.  “Why would an anti-gun administration knowingly force licensed firearms dealers to sell guns to violent criminals?”

Why is that?  Well we know why because it is obvious.  To sell their own preferred anti-gun policy potions and prepare the soil for their legislative “response” to the expected “outrage.”  But If Democrats are willing to do this just to deny Americans their second Amendment rights, what wouldn’t they be willing to do to advance every other part of their anti-liberty agenda?   (At least a few people could be having na epiphany right now so let’s give them a moment to enjoy it…)  OK.

Shall we proceed?

That Rich Bastard Who Is Screwing The Teachers Over Is Actually…

There is a graphic going around, no doubt becasue of the OWS class-warfare hippy-fest, that asks why we wold cut teachers pay 20% instead of asking millionaires to give a little more.    This is of course dishonest on several levels.

A few quick observations. No one is asking teachers to give up 20% of their wages and I challenge anyone who pays school taxes to find me an example of it.  The job creators already front 70% of all taxes from which teachers are paid so if anyone needs to pony up it is the rest of us.  And most importantly, the problem isn’t the wealthy it is the federal government.  Since Obama took office the Department of Education’s budget has gone from 35 Billion a year (That’s BILLION), to 70 Billion. ($70,000,000,000.00).  That’s 389 million per school day if you run on a 180 day calendar.

The rich bastard that is screwing teachers is not on Wall Street.  The richest bastard of all is the US Government’s Department of Education.
