When the New Hampshire media reports on our state’s reliance on property taxes you always hear how they are “some of the highest in the nation.” It’s true. Why don’t these same media outlets note, in the same breath, that this might be why our total tax burden is one of the lowest in the nation?

New Hampshire Business Review recently published an otherwise innocuous piece titled: Report: Over 9,000 NH homes at risk of major storm surge. The report calculates likely property damage given certain weather events. Given the climate narratives of recent years, I was suspicious.

Every time I buy a new vehicle–my newest one is eight years old, its driveway companion is twelve so this does not happen often–I suddenly find myself noticing how many other people drive the same car (Truck, Van, or SUV.) It probably works the same way with sweaters or Democrats who cheat one their wives…
So given recent events in Michigan I am not surprised to find myself “finding” more stories with a labor union theme.
