NH Senate Should BEG Our forgiveness on RGGI

Fools!God has a sense of humor.  Just days after Republican State Senators in New Hampshire bent over backwards to the green lobby (and refused to leave RGGI) a major green lobby advocate (George Monbiot) announced that none of their ideas work. (Ideas like cap and trade for example.)  Now, just days after that, a highly credentialed European scientist who was on the Anthropogenic Global Warming Government money "Gravy Train" has a message to those who continue to support CO2 mitigation of any kind, and in particular the failed variety like RGGI…

..to those who still believe the planet is in danger from our carbon dioxide emissions: Sorry, but you’ve been had. Yes, carbon dioxide is a cause of global warming, but it’s so minor it’s not worth doing much about.

So who is David Evans?  Here’s his bio from the article.

David Evans consulted full-time for the Australian Greenhouse Office (now the Department of Climate Change) from 1999 to 2005, and part-time 2008 to 2010, modelling Australia’s carbon in plants, debris, mulch, soils, and forestry and agricultural products. He is a mathematician and engineer, with six university degrees, including a PhD from Stanford University in electrical engineering.

Is this speaking truth to power?

The whole idea that carbon dioxide is the main cause of the recent global warming is based on a guess that was proved false by empirical evidence during the 1990s. But the gravy train was too big, with too many jobs, industries, trading profits, political careers, and the possibility of world government and total control riding on the outcome. So rather than admit they were wrong, the governments, and their tame climate scientists, now outrageously maintain the fiction that carbon dioxide is a dangerous pollutant.

A Funding “Solution” For Democrats Concerned about Budget Cuts

Remember all that stuff we didn’t have to have in the New Hampshire budget before 2006 when the democrats started piling it up into what has become our Billion dollar budget deficit? I don’t either. I’m not even sure what they spent it on which is why I am convinced I can do without it. All this caterwauling is clearly just cover for keeping the bloated bureaucracy alive so they can milk it for union campaign contributions.

Super MariObama

This comes to us from For America.org.

Which Is Worse Or Is It Both?

It should come as no surprise to anyone that a guy (Mr. Obama) who sat in a church for years and years and insists he didn’t hear anything that he didn’t (presumably) want to hear, would be any different towards the American people?

PCOTD (Political Cartoon of The Day) 5-11-11

Cartoonist: Mike Shelton   It seemed appropriate to take this in a slightly different direction.  So most of the future content posted as the Picture of the day will be more political in nature.  Introducing the PCOTD.  Political cartoon of the day. Hillary Clinton Edited Out Of ‘Iconic’ Photo

Cats!

(First a Note: This is not the picture in question. It’s better)

That’s the Yahoo! News headline. Hillary Edited Out of Iconic Photo.   Though I’m not particularly concerned about that.  I’m more interested in the media narrative about a staged photo.  The word iconic keeps popping up as an adjective to describe this "piece of…history."

Well, Iconic is defined by dictionary dot com as…

-Adj,

1.  relating to, resembling, or having the character of an icon.

2.  (of memorial sculptures, esp those depicting athletes of ancient Greece) having a fixed conventional style.

OK. Not much to work with there. How about Icon then?

n
1. Also: ikon  a representation of Christ, the Virgin Mary, or a saint, esp one painted in oil on a wooden panel, depicted in a traditional Byzantine style and venerated in the Eastern Church
2. an image, picture, representation, etc
3. a person or thing regarded as a symbol of a belief, nation, community, or cultural movement
4. a person regarded as a sex symbol or as a symbol of the latest fashion trends
5. a pictorial representation of a facility available on a computer system, that enables the facility to be activated by means of a screen cursor rather than by a textual instruction

Which of these five do you think the media is shooting for?

Given the direction of public education, I think we will have to amalgamate these into a common perception.  Something that fits the modern, western, collective unconscious, or in this case the media narrative about the current administration.  Iconic implies a historical moment of great importance destined to define our nation and it’s leaders (so -depicted) for generations to come.  Think- Sputnik moment!

Well lets work with that.

Follow The Big Blue Bread Crumbs

Democrats are hypocrites. Need more proof, just look to Obama care, and the billions it has handed out to big business, Big Union business in particular Yes, a union is a huge business, one that donates tens of millions to democrats.

Bin Laden is dead & Liberals Are Being…Hypocrites–Surprise!

Flip flop! They make it easy, and Bin Laden is no different.  Their hypocrisy emanates from them like the stench of stale sweat. So it is impossible to give them any credit because we all know that the only reason Osama’s death was made public late on a Monday night was because someone probably leaked it; this Executive branch does nothing without first plotting out the political ramifications and optimizing the benefits; it’s why it often takes them days to respond to any event.

So Osama is dead.  Go team.  But will we stay the course to get the rest fo them?  Probably not.  So what better time than now to remind ourselves about the hypocrisy; and we look no further than MoveOn.org (H/T to Ace of Spades) and the democrats who ran adds attacking Republicans for politicizing 9/11 and Bin Laden.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 /U.S. Newswire/ — A new TV ad attacks Republican attempts to use the fifth anniversary of 9/11 to resuscitate the President’s popularity and help Republicans hang on to control of Congress.

MoveOn.org Political Action’s thirty second spot is planned to begin airing nationwide on cable this week. The ad buy is $100,000.

The ad, "Exploiting 9/11," reminds Americans of the now discredited claims and promises made by the President and Republican leaders in Congress about the connection between 9/11 and Sadaam Hussein; the capture of Osama bin Laden; and making the country safer by invading Iraq

Who want’s to put money on the left buying ad time to use Bin Laden and 9/11 to "resuscitate the presidents popularity"–now that president is Obama? Will there be cries of outrage–yes, but only for those of us who dare point out the contradictions.

Let’s Ask Ray And Kathy

I have a question for Ray Buckley, current chairman of the New Hampshire Democrat party and Kathy Sullivan, former chairman of same. Is this voter intimidation or not?

Paul Hodes – Lobbyist?

The Concord Monitor is reporting that Paul Hodes has started a business consultancy. This will have him back and forth to Washington DC for the purpose of connecting northern New England to Washington DC; a lateral move from his role as congressman when he was trying to sign New Hampshire away to Washington DC.

I Guess The NHDP Is Now The “Monkey In The Window Party”

AL GraphicsBeing a New Hampshire democrat means never having to denounce anything.  This only matters because the liberal-progressive whip holders who direct traffic leftward around the democrat’s rotary-of-hypocrisy like to tap the hair trigger on their own media Weapons of Mass Outrage (WMO) whenever they can manufacture the provocation.  So if someone to the right of them puts together a sentence that could in any way be misinterpreted as racist, misogynist, bigoted and so on they create outrage, then pitch it to anyone who will listen.

But when it’s one of theirs no one has anything to say, including the local media whom I cannot recall claiming that "no democrat was available for comment" on the latest left wing outrage of the day.

So how about we ask?  Ask both why there has been no comment and why no one has asked for any, after AlterNet had itself a picnic lunch of racist slurs that ended in calling  a black man "a monkey in the window."

How About Them Nazis?

Given how touchy the New Hampshire Democrat Party (NHDP) leadership is about comments relating to Jews and Nazis I wanted to wait a few days before addressing the words of Tennessee House Democrat Steve Cohen. Cohen made a few, lets call them ‘off-hand remarks’ about propaganda, Republicans and Nazis. He then did it again with spin. And again. (and..Zzzz)
