Democrat policy is built on a pile of lies, deceptions, misdirection, and deceit. But you can’t openly admit you are just making stuff up so you can use people to accumulate unassailable political power. Even rank and file Dems might balk at that.

How About Those Gas Prices?

Been to a Gas Station Lately? Prices have spiked markedly in the last two weeks. For those of us driving Sport Utility Vehicles the effect is most pronounced. Just this week it cost nearly eighty dollars to fill my Ford Explorer’s fuel tank. It was nearly a year ago when President Obama quipped,
“If you’re complaining about the price of gas, and you’re only getting 8 miles to the gallon… you may wanna think about a trade-in”
Yes. I know..it’s an SUV….but show me a “clown car” with the performance benefits of an SUV. Fact is, there isn’t one. It appears that Obama believes middle America has the means to expend all the funds necessary to lower gasoline costs and improve efficiency. The President may well be right, but he overlooks the considerable cost one has to undertake to achieve that end.
Where Stands Jeanne Shaheen on the Keystone Pipeline?
There are at least ten Democrats, six of them US Senators, who support the Keystone XL pipeline (List on the jump). Private investment, jobs, commerce, property taxes, and did we say jobs?
How about millions of barrels per day of that black stuff we still have to buy coming from Canada, a chance to get less from countries like Venezuela?
US Refineries will convert that into fuels like Gasoline of which we are a net exporter. No interest in meeting global demand with US manufacturing?
What about Heating oil prices ? These are always a big concern in New Hampshire.
Where stands Jeanne Shaheen? I still don’t know.
