By a vote of 244 t0 105, the Democrat majority New Hampshire House voted to table CACR14, a ridiculously bad effort to enshrine “reproductive rights” into the State Constitution. So, bad it came out of a majority Democrat committee with an 18-2 vote to, for lack of a better word, to kill it.

CACR 14 was a proposed amendment to the NH Constitution. Its sponsors wanted to enshrine reproductive rights (abortion) into a document they barely know and often ignore. But for some reason, they figured it would keep us from messing with it.
Avoiding the A-word
There is currently an effort in Concord to add this to the New Hampshire constitution: “The right to make personal reproductive medical decisions is inviolate and fundamental to the human condition. Neither the State nor any political subdivision shall infringe upon or unduly inconvenience this right.” Regardless of how you feel about abortion, this is just an awful piece of legislation.
