Welcome to your Monday Groktober 5th, 2026, Morning Update.
Dearborn, Michigan Dearbornistan. Middle Eastern Muslims have been landing there for over a hundred years. But in recent decades, the population has surged. Since the nineteen sixties, so-called refugees have picked the Detroit suburb as the place to call home. Creating a massive Arab ghetto that now accounts for roughly fifty-five percent of the entire population of Dearborn, Michigan.
Muslims now control the entire city government, and when that happens anywhere else in the world, that is when Islam begins to flex.
From tolerant, self-described victims in a religious minority, into what Islam is. Intolerant of anything and everything except Islam.
As I am fond of reminding you, it is the least diverse ism of all the religious isms and possibly every other ism, even communism. Making it the least tolerant thing on planet Earth.
So I have questions about this.
September seventeenth, the American Freedom Law Center filed a landmark lawsuit on behalf of a Dearborn, Michigan resident, alleging that the Arab majority Detroit suburb led by Muslim officials has promoted Islam and discriminated against and fostered hostility towards Christians and Jews in violation of the Constitution’s Establishment Clause. The details of the case brought by my courageous colleague, Federalist Senior Legal Correspondent Margot Cleveland, are shocking. She alleges that Dearborn’s leaders have endorsed glitzy Ramadan displays and advertised an iftar dinner with public funds. Conversely, they have allegedly ignored Cleveland’s requests for comparable commemorations for Christian and Jewish holidays, and sidestepped concerns over public rallies glorifying jihadism.
They have also berated a Christian pastor and fellow constituent. In other words, the mask is off. Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud called Pastor Ted Barnum a bigot, an Islamophobe, who is not welcome here when he questioned the city’s renaming of a city street for an avowed Hamas and Hezbollah supporter.
Constitutionally speaking, this behavior will never survive even a cursory judicial review. It may have to climb the ladder for more strident consideration, because this is Michigan, so I don’t think you’re gonna get a judge in Michigan to call it by what it is, but this is how it goes.
And Islam does not care.
Not even a tiny bit.
I have no doubt that Margot is being very brave, that she will win her case on paper, but not in practice. Muslims took over Dearborn, Michigan, in the name of a faith that recognizes no power but its own. Neither spiritual nor temporal. Its mandate, and they believe this strongly, is to consume every religion and culture until there is only Islam.
So the plaintiffs win. Is there a fine or jail time? A sternly worded memo?
Islam does not care.
When it happens again and again and again, what then? More fines or slaps on the wrist, or maybe the mayor even goes to jail. His replacement’s gonna do the exact same things. And that’s because he has to.
Does anybody believe the Michigan National Guard is going to troop its way into Dearborn and protect Christians and Jews by enforcing the First Amendment?
No. The Muslims will keep at it until all the Christians and Jews leave, or they convert, or just shut up.
So, yes, this is a landmark lawsuit. I agree. Another historical cairn where Western law proved impotent against the infectious spread of Islam.
Not a happy thought, but a serious one.
