Welcome to your Thursday, July 30th, 2026. Morning update. Democrats like to change the names and meanings of things. Global warming, man-caused disaster. Diversity, equality, racism. How about the word woman?
Affordability, by the way, is another word that means something different to them. And when you get it wrong, they’re not going to correct you.
It means what the government can afford to give you after it’s paid itself.
When Zohran Mamdani was sharing or talking about the warmth of collectivism, he rightly left out the truth about what that actually means.
It’s a Russian bear hug that squeezes the life out of everything.
The middle class collapses, and you’re left pretty much with a government and everybody else.
How does that happen? Well, the wealthy run away. They take off. They take jobs and investment with them.
The only rich people left are in the government, and the only way to get rich is to join the government. But that’s no guarantee.
The other way to get rich is to rob people with the permission of the government because it serves some government purpose.
Zohran Mamdani got elected, selling the warmth of collectivism. He is a Democrat socialist, which is just a socialist, which is just a communist. He said that he would pay for more things with money from rich people. In one case, he said he was going to tax.
Unoccupied property, second homes worth more than a million dollars. The original estimate was maybe 31,000 properties, and it would raise X dollars.
The actual list has 960,000 properties, and while New York state law requires publication of this assessment roll and the property records are already public, the additional personally identifiable information added and the format designed to search for particular people and properties have created some outrage.
Mr. Mamdani has effectively released a hit list.
For all the Luigi Mangionis living in and around the Greater New York area. And that’s not hyperbole. These are the same people who like to roll mock guillotines into wealthy neighborhoods. Killing the rich is a mantra. Democrat in Maine once ran with a logo for public office that was a guillotine.
This is an invitation for DSA Stooges and their water carriers to harass, harangue, intimidate, and possibly even harm people
One of them includes actress and Mamdani supporter Cynthia Nixon, as well as Anna Wintour. I’m sure they’re very excited to know that every socialist nutjob in America knows exactly where their second home in New York is and how much it’s worth.
This brings up another point. They voted for this. I guarantee you they both voted for this. They certainly supported it and encouraged it, which makes me wonder.
I’m assuming they worked hard for their success. But if they feel guilty. Do they think they didn’t deserve it? Or are they the sort of person who just likes to pull the ladder up behind them?
Let’s commingle those two groups into one collective called idiot assholes. They voted for this. And they didn’t know it was coming? You’re either too stupid to know what’s next, or you were convinced that you were connected enough that you would be excluded from what you knew was coming.
How many times have I warned progressives that when they seek this sort of thing, the final form of it, once achieved, will have no use for them? Very few of them will end up surviving what happens when socialism lands hard and can’t be moved.
You will be taxed, you will be regulated.
And let’s be clear, Mamdani didn’t have to share all this information. He chose to do that.
It was as deliberate as Obama’s IRS leaking confidential tax information to left-wing activist groups who would then harass and intimidate Republican donors to make a statement: Do not donate to these groups, or this will happen to you.
Mamdani’s list is a warning, but since he’s a socialist, he’s also a moron. Moron Zamdani.
His variety of Democrat socialism, the one every single Democrat wants, no matter how much they lie about it, only works when the people can’t get away. America’s not perfect.
But there are dozens of states and cities where anyone, regardless of their income, especially the wealthy, can go.
Where they can live or where they can have a second home.
A place that will welcome their success and invite them to share it on their terms, not the government’s.
