When I see the “Hate Has No Home Here” signs in my Nashua neighborhood, at the YMCA and the library, and other public buildings, it looks like virtue-signaling to me.

Are they saying that they have no hate in their hearts? Are they saying that they are more loving than others? It seems passive-aggressive.
The fists on the sign are an allusion to Marxism. Marxist fists holding hearts are perverse. Marxism has killed many millions of people and caused untold suffering. There is nothing loving about Marxism.
I wonder if those putting up these signs reflect on the message and how others perceive it? I’m afraid to ask because that would automatically identify me as one of the “haters” they are trying to expose.
