Legislating is hard work, and achieving the right success is even harder. But our faithful advocate, Rep. Barbara Comtois, prime sponsor of HB233, the NH Vaccine Association transparency bill, achieved this year’s greatest legislative success in the battle to rein in runaway government and industry that work together with money and power to push vaccines and trample on our rights of health freedom and informed consent.
Many are unaware of the NH Vaccine Association or pay no attention to it because it does not determine vaccine mandates, and, quite frankly, learning about the Vaccine Association and monitoring it is a considerable amount of work. But Rep. Comtois educated herself and knew that this non-profit, stacked with DHHS people on the board, was clearly controlling the supply of vaccines, the money and power, and the mandates on doctors who then, in turn, bully parents. The first step in reining in or repealing this government-industry partnership is to educate the public and legislators by making the meetings fully documented and accessible at all times.
Rep. Comtois introduced HB233, which requires meetings of the NH Vaccine Association to be audio- and video-recorded and published on their website within 48 hours. She and Rep. Jonah Wheeler were the only people to testify in favor of this bill in the Executive Department and Administration House Committee. I submitted written testimony and reached out to committee members with information and suggested amendments. The ED&A Committee amended the bill to require the Vaccine Association to post the video recordings of these public meetings on their website. The Vaccine Association fought hard against it. This bill passed the House as amended. Then on to the Senate ED&A Committee. Both Rep. Comtois and I were there to testify in support of HB233, while the NH Vaccine Association executive director and other vaccine zealots were there to oppose public transparency and public disclosure of this government-industry association.
You may see on the General Court website that HB233 was retained in the Senate ED&A Committee. Yes, it was. But this was a deal made by our good Senator Howard Pearl that the Vaccine Association would voluntarily record and post their meetings on their website within 48 hours of meeting…but if they didn’t, he would bring the bill back, pass it, and force them by law to make this public disclosure. No freedom was trampled upon, no parental rights were violated, no bad deal making, just 100% success! This is how progress is made against vaccine mandates and the money and power that drive them. This also lays additional groundwork for passing HB524-FN, Rep. Michael Granger’s bill to entirely repeal RSA 126-Q that created the NH Vaccine Association. This bill passed the House and is now in a second committee, retained by Ways and Means.
Excellent work, Rep. Barbara Comtois! Your bill HB233, calling for NH Vaccine Association transparency, has forced the Vaccine Association to post their recorded Zoom meetings online for public access and public record! Way to hold the government and vaccine zealots accountable! This is the greatest achievement for health freedom that we have seen in a while. Thank you! Please give a listen to the NH Vaccine Association June 18 meeting and find out what you didn’t yet know! Public comments at the end.
