The big news around the Granite State these days is that Bill Shaheen, the head of a well-respected local law and lobbying firm, Shaheen and Gordon, husband of US Senator Jeanne Shaheen, was on a TSA watchlist and was rumored to have traveled with a suspected terrorist.
My advice is to stop wasting time on that and focus on what I believe to be the Shaheen family legacy of domestic terrorism (or its equivalent).
Health Care
US Senator Jeanne Shaheen began her ‘alleged’ acts of terror as a New Hampshire state senator. While the list is too long to revisit (which includes her stint as Governor), her “leadership” single-handedly cost New Hampshire billions over decades, as she sponsored legislation that wrecked health insurance competition in the state.
SB711 hurt NH families by reducing competition here in NH from over two dozen providers to effectively two – and premium rates soared.
The cascade led to the Hospital cartel, which continues to plague us, all of which have contributed to rising insurance and healthcare costs, as well as the lack of rural healthcare options across the state, issues that persist several decades after State Senator Shaheen’s legislation.
When Jeanne talks a big game about women’s healthcare, she is the tip of the spear that has made it more expensive and less accessible to everyone in the state for decades.
Shaheen was also a supporter, defender, and apologist for ObamaCare and the bloated bureaucratic expansion required to “mis-administer” it.
The National Debt
Speaking of spending, Jeanne Shaheen’s complicity in the outrageous national debt amounts to a multi-generational act of treason. Jeanne, Shaheen the spending Machine, inherited a $10.4 trillion national debt in January 2009 (when she became a US Senator) and is poised to leave us with nearly $40 trillion upon retirement. She ran in 2008 against John Sununu, criticizing irresponsible Republican spending and the long-term threat of debt accumulation.
Her daughter, Stefany, who is looking to ensure there is always a Shaheen in DC, often talks about her daughter, but not about the debt burden her mom left her with, or her children, or her grandchildren or their grandchildren. The current interest on the debt exceeds the Department of Defense budget and can only grow larger without significant intervention.
To add insult to injury, there is no remorse anywhere in that family tree. The soon-to-be ex-US Senator continues to fight to protect the bloated fourth branch of government, opposing transparency and the elimination of waste and fraud, lying about DOGE and Trump, while supporting her daughter’s congressional aspirations to continue doing so in her place.
Overdose Deaths & Sex Trafficking
Senator Shaheen had a front row seat to both the Obama and Biden open border policies that enriched violent gangs and cartels while spiking drug abuse and overdose deaths. Women and children were trafficked under her nose while she did worse than nothing. She made excuses for both “presidents,” defended their policies, and proposed ways to expand government and further inflate the budget and bureaucratic overreach to address the problem her Party and its leaders had created.

The watch list story is interesting and amusing, as are the suggestions that Senator Shaheen did her hubby a favor (oooh!), but Jeanne isn’t running for re-election, and Bill isn’t running for anything. Focusing on whether Bill traveled to DC with someone on the terror watch list is moot. Every Democrat working in DC is a domestic threat to America. Nearly every Dem who travels there “for business” is a pig looking to feed on any of a hundred, if not thousands, of troughs. The ones that would still be filling up at USAID if Trump and Rubio hadn’t exposed that laundromat.
The TSA news is barely salacious, like Glenn Greenwald being submissive on his own time in a dress. It doesn’t do or mean anything except hint that Bill could have been like hundreds or thousands of others who improperly end up on travel watch lists. And whether Bill asked his wife’s office to fix it is barely a scandal. It’s about as damning as asking her office to expedite a passport.
Good clickbait, yes. Meaningful politically, not at all, in my opinion, since Bill’s true crime, if you can call it that, is being part of New Hampshire’s five families. The bipartisan cabal of connected power in the Granite State alleged to profit from systemic fraud and abuse within the state’s borders.
TSA could do us a favor by not allowing Bill to fly back from DC.
A History of Bigger Political Fish We Could Fry
Other alleged Shaheen family domestic crimes could include helping hide Hillary’s treasonous Benghazi debacle or her illegal server problems (which China allegedly hacked in real time), Biden’s mental infirmity (we knew, why didn’t she?), and supporting the fake impeachment articles against Trump for wanting to expose very real Biden family corruption in Ukraine.
Jeanne Shaheen has had the opportunity to investigate acts that compromised America but instead defended the perps or dismissed the allegations because they were political allies. The TSA watchlist thing is a distraction with no value—the accidental pantsing of someone wearing designer swim trunks underneath. If you want to do something good for New Hampshire and America, start linking Congressional Candidate Stefany Shaheen to her parents’ many political sins. Stop the cycle of domestic terrorism against women, children, and the working class.
