Defending The Second Amendment, No Matter What

What last week appeared to be a decent day for a rally outside the New Hampshire state house took a New England turn yesterday. Mother Nature dropped several inches of spring snow on the Granite State, followed by rain, with temperatures in the mid-thirties.

It was the sort of Saturday where you grabbed a hot beverage, stoked the fire, and committed to doing little else. As promised, I drove up to Concord to cover the Women’s Defense League’s tenth annual 2A rally. I and a few score others braved the crappy weather to support a group of women who’s emission is to teach women to defend themselves.

They had hot coffee, donuts, snacks, water, some gear you could buy, a bunch of stuff to raffle off, and a handful of dedicated speakers who took to the microphone – dressed for the weather – to share a message. We will continue to teach women to defend themselves and their Second Amendment rights.

There was no other media present.

I saw Tenacious Terese there, spoke to my friend Rep. Jeanine Notter, chatted up Kimberly for a bit, and took a few pics of a patriotic pup there to “support” the WDLNH, complete with pearls.

The event was scheduled for two hours but was mostly complete after just one. I had to leave before they announced the raffle winners to cover a second event later that day. But before I took my leave, I did grab some sound bites from each speaker, which I’ve compiled into a montage clip for your edification.

Make sure you watch to the end.
