Shaheen the Backtracking Backstabber

As an elite-level athlete, I’ve been closely tracking my ability to have a safe locker room and a team that is genuinely a women’s team to participate in. Living in New Hampshire, I thought I was safe, as well as the girls still in our schools. We have laws already in place in New Hampshire (HB1205), but our laws are being violated (https://granitegrok.com/new-england/nh/2024/09/whose-sport-is-this). As we violate those laws, the lawbreakers move right in (https://granitegrok.com/new-england/nh/2024/10/we-gave-a-known-convicted-sex-offender-access-to-our-kids).

The danger and chaos multiply as the boundaries fade away. Look at the schools and organizations that KEEP the sports/locker room boundary as biological. Do we see chaos there? No. Only when the boundary is blurred or removed does the chaos ensue. Biological girls begin to refuse to play or become so uncomfortable that they quit or fail ever to join. Let’s be real, would you? A girl’s designated team with a six-foot-tall male (allowed to be naked) in the locker room and taking a prime team position? Why bother?

Jeanne Shaheen’s stance tells us how out of touch she is. She is as confused as the minority group she prioritizes. The vast majority of the state (and the country) feel strongly that biological males have no place on women’s teams or in their locker rooms. Shaheen voted for biological MEN to have any space they want, yours, mine, and theirs. By declaration now, it is theirs, per Jeanne Shaheen. Shaheen is now trying to confuse her constituents even more by muddying her stance on the subject (likely due to public pressure and a wish to run again) https://nhjournal.com/shaheen-local-groups-should-police-trans-athletes-not-federal-law/. The topic turned out to be a major factor in the 2024 election. Now, it’s becoming a game of backtracking.

First, Gavin Newsom backtracked on the subject (he’s a likely presidential candidate in 2028), and now Shaheen. While women appreciate any new recognition of our space, we see the truth in how they vote. Our reality is…we are experiencing the invasion NOW in their home states. They are witnessing the suffering they caused and NOW are acknowledging it’s not okay. LIKE WHAT??? You voted for our abuse and say you don’t really agree with that exactly? So you are corrupt??? What other conclusion should I come to? I watched biological girls in New Hampshire public schools lose out this past year in a big way. I fear for their self-esteem and their identity formation. I fear for their safety. Today’s messages are not healthy for girls. “Shhhhh” is the only thought that comes to mind. We’ve all been silenced. My space and my voice are irrelevant. A man can always declare it to be his. A “woman” is simply a declaration of such. No facts are involved in its definition.

Shaheen says we should decide this subject somewhere else, not to use an executive order. Like where? Several biological boys are currently violating our state laws (HB1205) in the hopes it will go their way federally. We already legislated this here in NH ,and it’s a NO. Shaheen is best to declare her position clearly and defend women as a whole, both locally and nationally. Semantics can’t make men into women. I’m offended by this form of gaslighting. SHE VOTED FOR IT. Backtracking backstabber.
