Not Vaxxed?  There’s a Cave For You

Who is pushing shots on New Hampshire children, including mRNA Covid shots, unproven monoclonal antibodies, and more, and how much are they spending to do it?

As your New Hampshire advocate for transparency and choice regarding vaccines, it has been my duty to learn the ins and outs of the vaccine program in New Hampshire and how it impacts you as a parent.

We want to thank Laura for the Op-Ed. Send yours to steve@granitegrok.com

It was about 2009 when I came across the NH Vaccine Association as a funding entity for vaccines targeted at children.  They had a sparse website, only a Concord PO Box for an address, and no information on who was on their board, if meetings were held, or how much they were spending.  While they claimed to be a non-profit, there was no state listing of them as a charity, and no record of a non-profit tax Form 990 ever being filed.  There was much to be learned

I began attending their meetings, apparently, the first member of the public to ever do so.  I had many questions and saw areas to improve their transparency and business practices.  I made suggestions.  But I was also concerned about DHHS’s use of this Association to fully fund their “immunization division.” You see, DHHS purchases all vaccines targeted at children from the CDC, and in turn, they are provided merit-based grants from the CDC, millions of dollars to fund this division.  With the money comes strings…directives, in fact, right from the CDC about what the program must do.  Part of what they are directed to do is to promote all vaccines and other shots on the “CDC Schedule” in the most aggressive ways possible, with doctors being required to take inventory of all the CDC-recommended vaccines and shots. Then they are personally financially liable for waste…how’s that for an incentive to inject every infant and child who comes through the door with doses of every type of shot in the refrigerator?!

In 2014, public member seats were added to the board by statute and I was appointed the first public member starting in July 2014. Thank Senate President Chuck Morse for this appointment and effort to bring disclosure and transparency. (The Speaker appoints another public member.)  In this position, I asked more questions, and as a board member, I was getting more answers.  I made policy recommendations and suggestions for improved business practices and transparency.  I pushed for proper accounting and the return of millions of dollars when DHHS was overpaid.

But when you press too hard and ask too many questions, government and industry will work to replace you with someone who has no questions. Indeed, in June 2019, Senate President Donna Soucy-D replaced me with Lorraine Radick, a registered pharmacist, director, and president emeritus of the NH Pharmacists Association – a real industry insider sitting in the “public member” seat.

They make a mockery of themselves. The board had once again become a yes board.

But I have not abandoned the mission to push for full disclosure, good business practices, and compliance with the law, and I continue to attend every meeting.  Note in the meeting minutes that I’m the one asking questions

In typical secret fashion, the public member seat became vacant this year, but the board of the NH Vaccine Association made no mention of it.  Lorraine Radick hadn’t attended a board meeting since March 2024.  Good business practice and honest disclosure to the public would have ensured there was notice of a vacancy on the board, especially since it was the public member seat.  But don’t expect any voluntary disclosure from this Association.  So, it was a surprise when I “attended” (Zoom only) the board meeting on September 18, 2024, to see former Democrat State Rep. Jerry Knirk seated as the new public member.  In secrecy, outgoing Senate President Jeb Bradley-R had appointed former Democrat State Rep. Jerry Knirk to this seat.  This is the very same Dr. Jerry Knirk who testified to the Senate HHS Committee on April 17, 2024, “If they want to go live in a cave somewhere, that’s fine, they don’t have to vaccinate.”

(Listen in at the 47:10 minute mark.)  It’s pretty shameful that Senate President Jeb Bradley would appoint such a person and that the NH Vaccine Association would allow someone on the board to represent the public who has a hateful and discriminatory attitude towards discerning and loving parents making careful health decisions for the children they so dearly love. I’ve written to the Vaccine Association asking them to reconsider if Jerry Knirk is an appropriate fit on this board.

So there you have it my fellow cave dwellers, this appears to be Senator Jeb Bradley’s parting gift to the parents of New Hampshire. Three peas in a pod…Jeb Bradley, CNN’s Leana Wen, and Jerry Knirk focused on hate and discrimination of the healthiest among us.

Want to know more about this NH Vaccine Association?  Please join me in attending their meetings.  The next one is on January 19, 2025
