Once again, a liberty group has released a list of endorsements for candidates seeking seats in the legislature,
133 in total( 126 House and 7 Senate).
Like AFP and GST, they’ve nuked their own credibility by supporting candidates who are enemies of 91A.
I will point out that some of 2024’s NHLA-endorsed candidates are non-incumbents and, therefore, have no record, so it’s all about their survey answers. Some non-incumbents were previously in office and, therefore, have records that exclude HB 1002. Some are reps seeking a promotion to “the other side of the wall.” Lastly, some are incumbents hoping to keep their jobs.
Of the endorsements, 21 of them voted for the RTK tax, and I’m here to keep that Wall of Shame front and center as the primary is less than a month away. Sadly, most of them don’t have primaries, but it’s not too early to plant a seed for their constituents to recruit candidates for 2026 or at least tell the following reps that they are on notice:
- Alexander
- Aures
- Bean
- Burnham
- Gagne
- Griffin
- Harrington
- Harvey
- Kuttab (sponsor of HB 1002)
- Love
- Judge Lynn
- McGough
- Moffett
- Pauer
- Post
- Potucek
- Seaworth
- Spilsbury
- Stone
- Terry
- Wallace
I’m really disappointed in NHLA, but as I said in a previous article, I don’t want to rain on the parades of the candidates very worthy of support. Please join me in congratulating future Senator Emily Phillips and the multitude of reps that I hope to see in the House next year doing what Comrades Mr & Mrs Newman cannot and will not do for me and my neighbors.
