Frank Staples Run for Governor Interview

The story of Lorenzo Sewell, the pastor who spoke at the RNC, echoes as well in the spirit of Frank Staples… well, sort of.

Frank (Frank Negus Staples) is running for NH governor in the upcoming 2024 election. I met with Frank on Aug 20th, my first impression was that he is ambitious. My final impression was that he appears to be an intelligent, self-taught constitutional scholar, and is well informed on the issues concerning the Granite state.

An interview with Frank Newhouse, Republican; running in the 2024 election for NH Governor.

Question: What are your thoughts on the judge granting a restraining order to allow a biological male who identifies as a transgender female athlete to begin soccer practice with biological girls?

Frank: It is absurd. Both sides of the transgender argument are wrong and misguided. One side is arguing from the concept of sex and the other side is arguing from the concept of gender. Sex is determined by genetics. We can’t change our sex, it’s static. Gender is actually a fluid mental state. We have men and women who all display both masculinity and femininity, albeit at different times and under different circumstances. These are two separate concepts that are independent of each other. Sex and gender are not the same. Both sides agree with that last part. We would benefit from including this nuance in the conversation but the issue is primarily being used as a politically divisive, emotionally charged tool.

Question: Should minor children be allowed to make permanent life-long decisions to become a transgender?

Frank: No. It’s no different than any other body modification. You have to be 18 years old to get a tattoo. Moreover, the medical industrial complex is profiting greatly from the treatments and procedures.

Question: How would you increase economic growth in NH?

Frank:

1) I would attract investments, such as; incentivizing the building of a semiconductor manufacturing plant accompanied by a university program.

2) Become energy independent with expanded nuclear and hydroelectric power, (no wind, it’s a scam) creating a lot of jobs, lowering our energy costs, and perhaps even selling energy to other states.

3) To increase state revenue; via a WAR TAX on government contractors who receive more than 50% of their gross revenue from manufacturing implements of war which are a major cause of the devaluation of our money through inflation and the funding of endless wars with our tax dollars. I propose we charge a 10% tax which could create approximately $750 million annually, and expected only to increase over the coming years. Two thirds of this revenue from the WAR TAX, over $500 million would be used to lower existing taxes for NH residents. The remaining third would be used as a stabilization fund; to lower fees, annoying taxes, property taxes, as well as funding energy projects, etc. Property tax could be lowered using this WAR TAX as much as 20%.

Question: What do you think of Governor Sununu’s signing of HB 1186” an act relative to firearm purchaser’s privacy” into law?

Frank: It’s part of our state constitution; Article 2B, right to privacy. This is according to our State’s Constitution. I’m in the middle of a book that is verbatim comparison of the State Constitution and how it interacts with the Federal Constitution, why we should only be using the 9th and 10th Amendment from the Federal Constitution, and then 1st through 8th Amendment from the State Constitution because we have state sovereignty under Article 7 [of the Federal Constitution.]  The 2B of our State Constitution and article 10 have no direct equivalent. Our state Article 2A has nothing about militia mentioned in it, it is about self-defense, defense of our family, our property, and the state. Most people don’t understand that even in federal court, we can, and we should argue from the State Constitution.

Note: Frank claims that his knowledge of the State Constitution is greater than lawyers, and even our State Legislators.

Question: Should you win, what are your top three concerns, priorities:

1) State Sovereignty

2) Energy Independence

3) And the reason I decided to run in the first place; the YDC investigation. (For more information on this crucial NH issue go to Frank’s website; FrankNStaples.org and follow this on WMUR. The first case has been won and the state is ordered to pay $38m with 1,400 more victims that have also brought their case before the state. If all plaintiffs win their case, this would cost the state approximately $53.2b over a ten-year period, perhaps even bankrupting the state.)

Frank also states that he would institute a state border patrol, run, and managed by the nine county Sheriffs to deter illegal migration into the state from other nations.

Frank discussed concerns about election integrity; paper ballots only, every voter would get a duplicate of their actual vote and would be able to verify online. Frank would protect our state’s currency with “Granite Bucks” backed with gold and silver (literally on the back side of the cash we use for currency.)

Frank owned and operated Humble House in Manchester from 2017-2022; a much-needed transitional housing program for those who’ve been incarcerated, dealt with homelessness, or addiction. The property he was renting came under new ownership and renovations which precipitated his temporary closure of the program. He plans to resume these services to those in need upon finding a suitable location and agreement. Frank worked at Amber’s Place crisis respite, the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester on the ACT team, and Mobile Crisis Response Team He is currently working multiple skilled labor jobs on top of managing his campaign entirely by himself.

Frank isn’t shy about his background. He has spent most of his life incarcerated. He used these years to educate himself; reading philosophy books, studying both the State and Federal Constitution.

He is passionate about protecting our youth while they are detained by the state, or in foster care situations. It is the opinion of this author, that while Frank may not yet be Governor material, whoever wins the seat in 2024, whether Democrat or Republican, would do well to consider vetting Frank for a position within the State House. He is ambitious, appears to be genuine, self-taught, self-motivated, and compassionate for the incarcerated youth for which he has personally experienced their struggles as well. Our troubled youth needs someone who understands them, and not just another “suit” who has no understanding of the personal struggles of our neglected youth.

Like Pastor Lorenzo Sewell who had a rough time in his youth, Frank Staples has taken his past struggles and failures and worked them for the good for the benefit of others. His desire is to contribute to our state, and in a HUUUGE way. His personal sacrifice to help others should not go unnoticed.

It was a pleasure to interview Frank Staples. I encourage readers to find out more about this intelligent, ambitious, and compassionate candidate for NH Governor.
