And act surprised when their “political children” misbehave
This will come as no surprise to anyone outside of Boston. The place isn’t just crawling with lefties; it attracts them like flies to, you know, feces. It’s been blue for a long time, as has the entire state, but you’d think the people running Boston didn’t know that or what it means.
“Another night of violence against police officers in Boston tonight,” said Larry Calderone, president of the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association.
“Our officers were attacked, assaulted and sent to the hospital with injuries. Completely despicable and totally unacceptable. We were outnumbered and understaffed for the event,” he continued.
“We need to put more officers out on the street at these events and help protect ourselves from these ruthless attacks. It’s happening far too often lately with no repercussions,” Calderone told the Herald.
Mostly peaceful protests.
I didn’t see any remarks from Mayor Wu. Maybe she was one of the arrested protesters, but Gov. Maura Healey pretended this wasn’t permitted behavior.
“Protest peacefully — that’s your right,” Healey said in a post to social media. “But blocking traffic and attacking police are not, and anyone who does should be held fully accountable.”
Two blaringly obvious points. First, isn’t this who your voters are? They get uppity, riot-prone, hate the police that your party tried and often succeeded in defunding, and they don’t like Jews either.
And it’s an Oct 7 Free Palestine protest.
Wingnut professors, who you’ve got more of down there than you can shake a stick at. Then there’s their wingnuttier students. All entitled victims with low tolerance for anyone who disagrees and an ideological hair-trigger for street action because you pruned them that way.
Pant like a white liberal woman having a hot flash, but these are your people.
Then, and we can’t leave this out, we’ve got the systemic failure to publicly object to attacks on police and federal officers in the course of their actual lawful duty, combined, quite often, with hot rhetoric encouraging this sort of behavior.
It would make more sense if you got outraged about them not getting spicy in the streets, burning cars, breaking things, and resisting arrest.
Most Democrats have sub-zero credibility objecting to any of this. These are your political kids. You fed them, raised them, encouraged bad behavior, and when they bite your ass, you should smile and say, “That’s my boy-girl-thing, a jigger.”
Just make sure you address them by their preferred pronouns, loser.
