Democrats Whine as Another Abortion ‘Clinic’ Set to Close

And instead of writing checks, they write a press release

The proglodytes are in a tizzy. Planned Parenthood Northern New England (PPNE), the regional overlords of the global abortion behemoth, is closing its St. Johnsbury, Vermont, ‘facility.’

“We find ourselves in a pivotal moment,” Clegg continued. “This is a challenging time for PPNNE as we have been operating with a deficit budget and experiencing serious financial hardship in recent years. Health care costs have drastically increased while reimbursements from insurance companies for sexual and reproductive health care services have remained low and do not cover our costs to provide care.

Nicole Clegg is the president and CEO of PPNNE, and the problem, as she sees if, is diverse, for lack of a better word.

“There are many factors, including a lack of health care workforce, sparse populations, and high costs of care delivery. PPNNE is not unique in this, rural providers, including rural hospitals, across the country are seeing similar issues. The problem is exasperated in New Hampshire with state and federal family planning cuts, low Medicaid reimbursement rates, and New Hampshire’s high cost of living coupled with low wages.”

I have no sympathy. Zero. And it has nothing to do with my deeply held belief that the arc of human life begins at conception. I am unsympathetic because PPNE still spends nearly two million a year on lobbying to get politicians to fund their “services” with other people’s money. How many “health care professionals” could you train at the local community college with that? How many living wages could you offer to attract the “health care workers ” you say you need? A few.

Instead, they all whine and blame everyone else.

[NHs] Congressional delegation reacted to that news with U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen, D-NH and Maggie Hassan, D-NH, alongside U.S. Representatives Chris Pappas, D-NH and Maggie Goodlander, D-NH releasing this statement.

“The Trump administration’s move to freeze federal funding that helps Planned Parenthood of Northern New England deliver basic and often life-saving reproductive health care will be nothing short of disastrous for the communities we represent.

Senator Jeanne Shaheen is worth about 11 million dollars. Carpetbagger Maggie Goodlander is worth between 20 and 30 million. Chris Pappas is estimated to be worth 136 million. Then there’s poor Maggie Hassan, who is only estimated to be worth between 2.7 and 7.6 million, so maybe we can cut her some slack?

STFU and fund it yourself you assholes!

If it is so essential, there is literally no reason that the St. Johnsbury, VT “clinic” needs to close. No one needs to be denied “life-saving reproductive health care” (with a nod to the fact that most of that care ends life). You have enough capital and know enough people with as much or more to prop up dozens of clinics.

If this service is so essential, donate to the damn thing. That’s how pregnancy care centers survive and thrive. They ask like-minded people to support them, and they do. No taxpayer dollars. No back-door trashcan bill funding. No hidden grants from USAID. People of both adequate and less than adequate means cough up the bucks because pregnancy care center staff do the damn work to keep their doors open. They then respect those donations by running their operations responsibly, relying on volunteers and a few paid professional staff devoted to the cause.

Planned Parenthood (PP), like most Left-Wing laundromats (and so-called non-profits and NGOs), appears to exist, not to provide services but to redistribute other people’s wealth to pay administrative staff who use more of that money to intimidate people and politicians into funding an organization that then finances favorable political campaigns.

In 2024, the AP reported that PP planned to spend 40 million to elect a Democrat president. The local and regional affiliates also spent on state, local, and national races. Not to fund clinics or “essential” care. They spent it to get someone else to make you pay for their bloated operating overhead and if there’s any left, some screenings, birth control, and the odd abortion or two (“Our Core Business” – Dr. Leana Wen).

America is saying it doesn’t want to pay for that, and when Trump won, some women shaved their heads in protest. Perhaps PPNE could do the same with the well-funded, unproductive, non-service-related aspects of their budget. Perform a DOGE-like audit, then give that balance sheet a haircut. The President of Planned Parenthood makes an obscene amount of money. Enough to fund more than a few “health care clinics” each year, every year, and still make a decent wage.

I’m sure there is ample fat in the regional budgets if care and services were the goal. Even if they are not, their private and political advocates have more than enough discretionary income to open and support “clinics” wherever they think they need them.

If it is so damn important, instead of writing a pissy press release pointing fingers, perhaps you should look in the mirror and then start writing some big fat checks.
