No wonder our Pledge of Allegiance has faded into oblivion; that nasty word “Republic” was just too inconvenient to let stand. Besides, it was antithetical to this new wanna be policy of “equality,” commie style! During the last century, the origins of our American Republic have been mostly forgotten, with little reaction from our people. While this presents a dim view of today’s breed of Americans, it also encourages such tragedy.
This seems to have started when President Wilson insinuated America to be a democracy when stating “we must make the world safe for democracy.” His Constitutional ignorance could have been residue from his Princeton College days, but he still managed to shape our American beliefs. Today, after decades of casual and official referencing, this term is taken to be our governing brand! This is a grotesque insult, and yet, as today suggests, it was the start of an ideology which is now attempting to challenge and change our American Republic! Wilson’s gaffe was intentional!
Whatever pushback that this foreign agenda may have produced was smothered by the media, academia, and political reassurances. Any serious threat of deviating was labeled radical, war-mongering, or met with personal disgrace to the point that it discouraged many concerned citizens from running for office.
This climate is giving life to anything that would detract from America’s image or her foundational strengths. Having “never lost a war” finally bit the dust in Vietnam. Given that the most powerful lost to communist insurgents with a third-rate foreign army defies any logic, yet this outcome was welcomed in America due to years of anti-war propaganda on campus and featured in what was the forerunner of today’s fake news.
Also, that which should be America’s most reliable protector, our judiciary, has sadly become another political engine meant to confirm each questionable measure. Proof of our Court’s lost neutrality occurred during a confirmation hearing of a female appointee who couldn’t define a woman! Before her selection, the public was told her legal acumen wasn’t a consideration, so her being named was obviously political.
Today, there’s a reason we are sizing up the 2028 Republican presidential candidates. Namely, it’s designed to further bury our Constitution’s requirement that both the President and Vice President must be a “natural-born citizen” (NBC). This standard requires both parents to be citizens at the time of the candidate’s birth. Two quality American statesmen, who have more than proven their allegiance and abilities, continue to be cited, yet both are unqualified due to our Constitution’s NBC requirement.
In the past, only Democrats have managed elections without NBC qualifying, so officially endorsing unqualified Republicans would make it bipartisan; therefore, adding credibility to the notion that the NBC standard is antiquated. The reason is that the future holds millions of recent “democrats” who would never meet that NBC standard. America did elect and re-elect an unqualified President, which eventually showcased its evil when falsely stating that “America isn’t a Christian nation!” Now, our Republic cries out in desperation for her people to care, to reclaim, and then to protect. Now isn’t too soon!
