MACDONALD: Two “Abortions” One Procedure

This happens more often than we know. An 18-year-old girl went in for an abortion, and a complication from her procedure resulted in her death.

[Lexi] Arguello, who was 21 weeks and 6 days pregnant, underwent the abortion on February 6, 2025. The forensic pathologist determined she developed disseminated intravascular coagulation — a catastrophic clotting disorder — after the abortion, leading to cardiovascular collapse and multi-organ failure.

The report identified “probable amniotic fluid embolism” as a significant contributing condition.

Her unborn baby died, followed by its mother, which is a tragedy, but the matter at hand that brought this news to us was the diligent work of pro-life activists working to expose a cover-up.

The pro-life groups Operation Rescue and Life Legal Defense Foundation requested the autopsy less than two weeks after Arguello’s death. They initially received only a heavily redacted copy that blacked out information related to the abortion and possible complications. …

Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, told LifeNews.com that the autopsy clearly exposes Planned Parenthood’s wrongdoing.

“This autopsy is one of the few public documents that can expose Planned Parenthood for wrongdoing in the tragic death of Lexi Arguello,” Newman said. “It’s also a document that can prove just how dangerous unregulated and unlicensed Colorado abortion clinics have become. Women are dying and state officials are looking the other way.”

Newman criticized the coroner’s reasoning for trying to withhold details in an attempt to not cast abortion in a negative light.

Your streaming services are loaded with stories featuring coroners who turn into investigators to speak for the dead, and I’ve watched my fair share, all the way back to Quincy, for those old enough to remember that one. I can’t recall anyone ever digging into exposing a so-called provider of “women’s health care” who “accidentally” killed a young girl during an abortion.

Larimer County Coroner Stephen Hanks wouldn’t take that case either, it appears, as he is the one who tried to hide Planned Parenthood’s complicity because casting abortion in a negative light is a greater crime than whatever medical malpractice resulted in this young woman’s death.

She trusted the non-stop messaging from every direction, including medical shows that like to glorify choice while condemning other social and cultural “norms” that the writers of these shows have decided unnecessarily put people at risk.

Pop Stars, celebrities, influencers, the entire Democrat party industry Complex, which has long since abandoned safe and rare for an essential women’s health care right when there is no right to define what girls and women even are in a world where care is, in fact, not a right, but murdering the unborn is and taking their mothers with them might.

Nothing new under the sun. When PP got busted for encouraging late-term abortion so it could profit from harvesting the organs of those aborted babies, the left denied it, tried to hide it, and since it was a sin, California, California brought the entire government and its prosecutorial war machine to bear on the guy who uncovered it.

Seven years later, he’s finally been exonerated, but since the story has been successfully made about him, it is a story known on the right and as an urban myth on platforms like BlueSky.

If 18-year-old Lexi Arguello had died from complications during childbirth because her Catholic mother wouldn’t let her abort the baby, Coroner Stephen Hanks would have probably held a press conference.

No redactions.

It’s kind of disgusting how politics has polluted what is supposed to pass for public health. But it’s not surprising. The judicial branch appears hopelessly poised, so how are police Chiefs, Fire Chiefs, and the Health and Human Services apparatus expected to keep their hands clean?

COVID showed us the extent of that damage, which eroded public confidence. Hanks should be fired and replaced, and Planned Parenthood should be sued for wrongful death.
