Housing Bubble Architect Barney Frank, a career politician and Democrat who spent 32 years telling us what to do from Congress, has offered up a deathbed declaration. Maybe don’t go so far left.
Frank told CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday that his record gives the message weight. “It’s precisely because I have been on the left that I have undertaken this,” Frank said. He named trans athletes in women’s sports as a debate Democrats should approach carefully rather than treat as a loyalty test.
You misspelled “purity test.”
“I understand there’s a lot of anger about that,” Frank told CNN. “And I think, in the interest of the transgender community, as well as others, it would be better to go at that in a more granular way, and not simply announce that, if you don’t support it, you’re a homophobe.”
He’s not wrong, but the Democrat party has the same problem as Germany during the rise of Hitler, Russia and China during the rise of their Marxist regimes, and every once Christian majority nation now ruled by Islam and Sharia. Determined radicals run the show.
So-called moderates exist and in greater numbers, but they get rolled by the radicals. The current version of the Democrat party is well past the point of moderation. Violent rhetoric is not a warning but a promise. Post-Trump threats and violence will not wane. You can’t put that genie back in the bottle. Democrats have condoned it, nurtured it, because it is inevitable for their promised form of government. You can’t get there from here without it. They will go after you, in your homes, at your schools, on the street, and if people get hurt or die, then that’s either a lesson or an opportunity.
If it’s one of us, the moderates cower more. If it’s one of them, they are martyrs to the revolution.
The Democrat party sucked when Barney Frank was breathing life into its destructive antics, but it has gotten exponentially worse in recent years. We have not re-arrived at the level of violence we saw in the sixties and early seventies, when progressive activism meant bombing something. They were detonating bombs daily. Riots were a feature of the landscape. It was an ugly time.
Fast forward sixty years, and we’re looking down the barrel of the same gun with trillions more in laundered money to left-wing groups. Your money. Donald Trump’s effort to claw it back and stop the bleeding has ignited a hate-fest from the Left. He is busting up the laundromat and taking on the global financial systems that assist in their shared effort to kneecap America.
The Democrat party of today can’t be changed. It has chosen its course. There will be no next time for a Republican administration to drain the swamp. If they get back in power, the radicals will engage in political retribution exponentially worse than what we have seen since Obama. They are not lying. No one is safe. James Carville’s exhortation was no uncontrolled doctrine.
They will pack the court. Make it impossible for the Judicial branch to stop them. And then they will wage a war on the center-right. The radicals will do what radicals do with the goal of sparking a hot civil war so they can institute Martial law, take over local law enforcement, deploy the national guard and regular military, not to restore peace but to deploy their iron fist.
Keeping Democrats out of power won’t prevent violence. The weaker they get, the more desperate they will likely become, but as long as they do not control the government, America has an opportunity to outlive Barney Frank and his too-late deathbed advice.
