CARDELLO: Was Anyone Listening to President Trump?

The President addressed the American people on Wednesday night, but listening to the supposed experts on CNN and MSNBC afterward showed they missed it. Nicolle Wallace was brought in for the recap because of her political expertise. Please, she spent her segment basically laughing at the President and his address. Kaitlin Collins on CNN was no better, and her twisted account showed her pure hatred of Donald Trump. She cannot be objective, effective, or factual with her terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Then there was Seth Moulton on MSNOW explaining why the United States is losing the conflict. Yes, it called it a failure with no purpose and an unnecessary war that Trump wanted to fight. Not that America had to fight. He also showed how disrespectful he is toward the presidency when he said he was not a child psychologist and could not interpret Trump’s words.

In a matter of minutes, Moulton made it clear why it would have been a waste of time for Trump to have gone to Congress before he attacked. Congress is one of the most inept governing bodies on the planet, and that is because of representatives like Seth Moulton. He actually said that more troops would be coming home in body bags under Trump’s command. Any loss of life is a national tragedy, but to only have 13 fatalities at this point is amazing and should be acknowledged, not denigrated. Even Van Jones on CNN, who is usually level-headed, was emotional and confused. It was a poor display of journalism and clear evidence of why these two networks’ ratings are as low as Congress’s.

Trump gave a very Trump-like speech, and you need to filter out the hyperbole and boasting, but he was quite clear in his message. Iran was close to 80-90% enriched uranium and with their ballistic missile capabilities had Europe and possibly even the U.S. mainland within reach of nuclear bombs. Trump was not going to let that happen. He had vowed since 2015 that Iran would never have a nuclear weapon, and because they boasted about it instead of negotiating a peace plan, Trump destroyed their military and killed the top two generations of leadership. He threatened to take out their power grid and oil refining facilities if they chose not to surrender unconditionally.

How anyone can say that we are losing this war is not paying attention, not listening to the experts, hates the President, and should never be allowed on set during prime time ever again.

As far as Iran’s hold on the Strait of Hormuz, it is obvious that Iran will no longer have the ability to control it, or it will be part of the surrender agreement. Every one of these inept journalists claimed Trump had no idea about the future of the very important waterway. It was quite clear, if you listened to Trump, that he is planning to be ready to pull out in 2-3 weeks, with most of Iran’s military might in stitches and scrap metal. It is a pleasure to see Trump address the nation, and it is pretty much necessary. It is the only way he will be recognized and get his message directly to the people, and the coverage he received on CNN and MS Now proved the need for direct communication.

Trump is bold, brash, and sometimes repetitive, but his actions and commitment to America are decisive. Anyone who does not see the need for what he has done to Iran does not understand the power of nuclear arms in the hands of rogue nations intent on eliminating anyone who is not their kind. These are not people who can live amongst others. They are religious fanatics who want to rule the world; thus, the calls for death to America. Trump did what was needed, and someday, when these so-called journalists grow up or smarten up, they will see how foolish they are in their hatred for a man and the tainted word they spread to the American people.
