President Trump’s State of the Union (SOTU) honored America’s heroes, sympathized with crime victims, and described how he’s improving Americans’ lives. The Democrat response, by recently inaugurated Virginia Governor Spanberger, claimed, with incredible chutzpah, that Trump has made life less affordable and more dangerous.
President Biden and his Democrat Congress drove the 1.4% inflation he inherited from Trump to 9.1%; Trump already cut inflation to 2.4%.
Biden drove the gasoline price to $5.05/gallon, Trump already cut it to $2.91/gallon (February). Trump already cut egg prices from Biden’s $4.95 to $2.53 ( as low as 1.99 in some stores). Mortgage rates are at a 3.5-year low.
By voting against the One Big Beautiful Bill, Congressional Democrats voted against “no tax” on tips, overtime, and Social Security, which helps poorer people; Democrats voted to increase everyone’s taxes.
Making life less affordable by raising taxes, fees, and regulations is what Democrats do. New Hampshire Democrats did it. Even newly inaugurated Spanberger and Mamdani have already broken promises, proposing tax increases.
Biden’s open border let in 10,000,000+ illegal aliens who harmed millions of Americans. Democrats inflate a few unfortunate incidents where, encouraged by Democrat politicians, people who criminally obstruct (not protest) ICE have been harmed. Such incidents are extremely rare, considering that 2.5 million illegal aliens have been repatriated.
Trump’s anti-crime efforts, attacked by Democrats, resulted in the lowest murder rate since 1900 (https://tinyurl.com/2723brnw) and prevented perhaps 20,000 drug overdose deaths.
Unsurprisingly, locking up criminals makes people safer than Democrat policies like defunding the police, no cash bail, reducing or dropping charges against criminals, light sentences, and releasing incarcerated violent criminals early to prey on law-abiding citizens and residents.
These SOTUs showed again that Republicans prioritize Citizens over illegal aliens and law-abiding citizens over criminals, while Democrat politicians prioritize illegals and criminals over law-abiding Citizens.
