The Black Lives Matter movement was a massive money laundering operation that got a lot of people excited about doing things that didn’t improve black lives beyond leadership. The lives at the top got rich and moved into white neighborhoods. Everyone else got angry and divisive. In the end, black lives were lost, and some grifters got rich.
If black lives really mattered, you’d do something to decrease crime, not commit more of it. You’d work on the black-on-black crime problem that predominates the data and results in the lopsided number of black men in prison. Someone would use their frustration at the system to march on the black city schools and school boards that spend more money than it costs per year to attend an Ivy League College, to ‘graduate’ kids who can’t read or do math. There would be a concerted effort to support and affirm families with a mom and dad, a work ethic, and a rebuilding of community around families and children.
The race baiters and BLMers getting rich and padding their progressive resumes will call that racist, white privilege, and the rest of it, but Blacks in America used to have strong families. These days their ‘leaders’ are part of a political machine that benefits from them being captured beneficiaries of taxpayer largess. A demographic that is of more use to the Democratic party if it is angry and dependent, trapped on its riddled urban plantations.
Democrats are the enemy of Black Americans and like many other parts of the nation and its culture, it will take time to turn that around. One metric that helps is the record drop in murders this year. Mr. Trump has made law and order a primary concern by following the law to reestablish order. He has surged law enforcement anf federal agents into cities like Washington DC and Memphis. The results have been so stunning, even local libs who typically pander to the Democrat elites, calling this a totalitarian abuse by a fascist government, impressive.
Crime is down.
The United States is on track for the largest one-year drop in murders ever recorded, according to crime analyst Jeff Asher.
Asher cited year-over-year data from the Real Time Crime index, which shows the murder rate has decreased nationally by nearly 20 percent from 2024 to 2025.
Given that the most likely victims of murder are black Americans, killed by blacks in America, that’s not just a better number. Black lives are being saved. Black lives actually mattered.
Sadly, we still have black leaders and their white water carriers in the Democrat party objecting to a white president doing something that saves black lives. Trump is deporting criminal aliens, many of whom are harming legal immigrants and urban blacks, women, and children. His administration is leveraging federal resources to encourage local PDs to end affirmative action and DEI hiring and shift back to merit- and performance-based recruitment. He has offered to help curb crime by supporting cities whose Democratic leaders can’t hire enough law enforcement officers to address it – a problem created by Democrats in response to demands by BLM to defund police. A tactic that causes more harm than good.
They sit on their hands and cry and blame guns and offer handouts when what they need is judges who put repeat offenders in jail instead of back on the street.
Cities harmed by gun violence have begun to see a steady decline in murders. Albuquerque, N.M., which ranks in the Top 10 nationally for per-capita murder rate, experienced a 32.3 percent decrease in fatalities, according to Asher.
Baltimore, another city on the list, saw a 30.9 percent drop in murders from 2024 to 2025.
Atlanta saw a 26.2 percent decrease in murder, while Birmingham, Ala., recorded the highest drop at 49 percent, Asher reported
It must be said that some of this could be data manipulation, but it’s hard to hide murders, and they are in decline. And yes, it is part of a steady year-over-year improvement. Murder was down in 2024 in part because what followed the BLM defund movement was a historic spike in crime and murder.
Democrats were responsible for that. They invited it and then ensured a culture and landscape that permitted it. But something is changing. Carjackings, property theft, assault, and robbery are also in decline.
It might be an anomaly. Lord knows, the left loves its crime. The goal of a Democrat-Socialist is a one-party state, and they don’t mean one run by Republicans, where people are not afraid to walk the streets, and small businesses are allowed to thrive without their oppressive oversight.
Dems will take credit for any declines, but they’d rather have you mired in chaos and begging them for help. And they’ll toss whoever they can back into that as soon as they are able.
