MACDONALD: Girls Will Be Boys And Boys Will Be Girls…

Your school district may leave plenty to be desired, but when measured against the infamous Loudon County Schools in Northern Virginia, there is likely much to be thankful for. Loudon has made national news repeatedly over more years than I can recall. It is the demented Identity politics poster child for why parents homeschool.

And it is still at it.

Northern Virginia school district will suspend two boys who complained when a girl, who identifies as a boy, used their locker room at school—and the district will also force the boys to work out a “corrective action plan” with school administrators. …

According to the boys’ attorney, Josh Hetzler, the punishment includes 10 days of suspension and a no-contact order with the girl, who the boys caught in the boys’ locker room, along with the corrective action plan, which Cobb said has yet to be “determined.”

Loudon Proud Backlash

Everyone from the kids’ lawyers to the Republican AG and Governor (and a chunk of MAGA Nation) is watching, and not just because it’s the infamously woke Loudon County.

Youngkin noted Miyares’ investigation and said the attorney general thinks “this was a retaliatory process against these three young men.”

He also noted that Loudoun County Public Schools initially investigated three boys—one Muslim, two Christian—but dropped the investigation into the Muslim boy, while holding the Christian boys on the hook.

In the interests of non-discriminatory behavior towards a mental patient (girl thinks they are a boy), the district committed religious discrimination. Muslim boys are permitted to object to a girl in their locker room, but Christian kids can’t.

Loudon County is already in violation of Title IX and is having its federal funding gutted. Still, there’s no word in the reporting on whether anyone thinks there is a religious discrimination case in the wings. I’d have thought that was obvious.

Two Christians and a Muslim find a girl in the boys’ locker room…pretending to be a boy.

Would they have been as concerned if she were there as a girl? Maybe on a dare? Just curious. Counting urinals or confirming how awful sweaty boys’ accommodations were alleged to be? Would the girl get in the sort of trouble I imagine would be heaped on a boy being a boy in the girls’ locker room?

I blame the Kinks.

Girls will be boys and boys will be girls
It’s a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world
Except for Lola
Lo-Lo-Lo-Lo-Lola

Saw them live, once. Overall, not a bad event, but Ray Davies was a bit of a privileged prick, sort of like the Loudon School District. It’s my party and I’ll be an ass if I want to. He was. When he wasn’t, it was good.

As for Loudon County, VA, here is their Title IX policy.

The district’s Title IX policy says: “Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) is committed to providing a safe and inclusive educational environment for all students, employees, and community members. In accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, LCPS prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, including sexual harassment and assault, in its educational programs and activities. LCPS does not discriminate on the basis of sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation in its programs and activities.”

Religious discrimination isn’t covered in Title IX, but while “The Office for Civil Rights (OCR) of the U.S. Department of Education, isn’t charged with enforcing laws protecting religious liberty, In OCR’s experience, some cases of religious discrimination may also involve racial, ethnic, or sex discrimination.”

Islam is notorious for its systemic discrimination against women, which hints at why they excluded the Muslim boy. Discrimination based on sex or gender is perfectly acceptable if you are in a recognized victim group.
