MacDonald: Alejandro Mayorkas in Chains?

Ann Colter’s got a great piece over at Townhall directed at former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. She wants to know why he hasn’t been arrested yet. It’s a fair question, as is “to whose homeland he was actually secretary of,” given his primary mission was to undermine the security of the Homeland.

It’s not Coulter’s question, by the way, not originally. Someone asked Trump, and Coulter did us the kindness of filling in some details, like the actual law that might relate to Mayorkas or any accomplices, to justify his being put in chains.

Federal immigration law imposes a slew of requirements before foreigners are allowed to move here. For example, as we immigration buffs know, the “law” (U.S. Code Title 8) provides that no alien may enter our country for more than 30 days without, among other things:

  • a visa;
  • a passport;
  • being fingerprinted;
  • filling out the 11-page Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application — in English!;
  • being interviewed by a consular official;
  • a medical exam; AND (not “or”)
  • proving he will not become a public charge.

Further, the law states that any person who, operating outside of these laws, “brings to or attempts to bring” an alien to the U.S.; or who “transports, or moves” an alien within the U.S.; or who “encourages or induces an alien to come” to the U.S., has committed a felony. And if any of these violations results “in the death of any person,” the person who brought, transported or induced the illegal “[shall] be punished by death.” (8 U.S.C. 1324)

I don’t see how, if the law was applied, any number of individuals could avoid being found guilty of it, and not just during the reign of President autopen. Pictures of the LA riots come to mind, along with the proglodytes swarming social media to praise law breakers and swear fealty to their defense and protection.

“Saying it” is protected by the First Amendment, but doing it is aiding and abetting, which might put a dent in your “there’s no such thing as an illegal person” narrative. There most certainly is, in every nation on earth, and that includes you once you’ve done illegal things.

Fear not. No one is likely to arrest or detain you unless you interfere in lawful operations or actions or do something idiotic like put your hands on a federal agent. What is likely to happen is that your online rants could be collected and compiled, and then served up when you next run for public office or publicly offer support for someone else. At least I hope that’s what happens. I’ve been encouraging locals to pick a Dem and take a few minutes each week to scrape their crazy off the internet and put it into a folder. Save it. Deploy it when most opportune. And you don’t have to send it to us, but we can put some wind under its wings.

These people are crazy, unlawful, and dangerous to every corner of America, much like Mayorkas. Title 8 does not give him latitude to “streamline” a process or create an end around the law, and anyone who helps him or hinders the enforcement of the law as written is guilty of a crime, just like the Illegals let in without following the necessary due process passed by Congress.

It’d be nice to see Mayorkas and a long list of criminals doing business as politicians or bureaucrats, arrested and tried based on the actual law and evidence. America needs ot see it, but the left will most certainly claim it is proof of Fascism when it is the opposite.

Mayorkas broke a lot of laws. The Biden Administration in total broke more of them than we can count. Whether anyone in this cabal will ever see justice remains to be seen, but if anyone has the balls to give it a go, it’s Donald Trump.
