MacDonald: Cash-Strapped BLM Demands Tribute from Whitey

Another Marxist laundromat pretending to care about identity politics is having cash flow problems. Black Lives Matter, the scam that made the Cullers family rich, was the beneficiary of corporate blackmail, tribute, and extortion. In the heat of the flames from the summer of Love (2020), the boards capitulated and fattened its calf.

Not so much these days. It appears they’ve hit a bit of a financial rut. From its reported $ 22 million in Pocket in 2022, it raised a paltry $ 77,000 in 2024 amidst an intergroup civil war and accusations of theft, as well as evidence of misuse.

Seriously, where’d the 22 million go? It can’t all have been absconded with by Patrice Cullers and family. Whatever its destination, the shortfall has required them to fall back on old saws. To celebrate Juneteenth, they demanded reparations.

“We need you to confront and smash the anti-Blackness in your own communities and economies, at your own dinner tables, in your own hearts,” reads another section addressed to “non-black people of color.”

I’m not convinced BLM has arrived at the truth of the problem. Most black crime is committed by Black people. And most of the institutional or systemic issues that they claim to fight are a product of Democrat rule.

Given this inconvenient truth,

A May poll from Pew Research Center showed most American adults thought an “increased focus on race” driven by the BLM movement brought no meaningful benefits for black people in the time since George Floyd’s death in 2020.

… my suggestion is one we’ve shared with a lot of others who can see the issues clearly. If you can’t get the Democratic party to write you a check with their own money, your best bet is to stop voting for Democrats, and then, insist your local governments get DOGE’d to clean out the rat nests of incestuous wealth creation for the urban ruling class.

Juneteenth was about the last Democrat holdouts freeing slaves because Republicans made them do it. This won’t be much different. And it’ll take a long time. You won’t get anything like better overnight, and understand that groups like BLM will never get you there. They need division and hate to keep you down, even if they have to create it themselves. It’s how they make their living.
