Spying on Americans was never in doubt, but the Obama Administration weaponized the government and numerous intelligence agencies to do so domestically. Obama spied on everyone. Our allies, Congress, the Press that loved him, and you and I.
This expanded into the censorship industrial complex, which employed spying to selectively locate and silence opinions the government disapproved of, labeling them as a public good. They were stopping you from seeing lies about them. They even had a category of censorship that identified truths they didn’t want anyone to know.
The government leveraged power to get private companies to do the work, even deplatforming individuals.
The proposed Disinformation Governance Board and its appointed Czar, Nina Jankowicz, might have survived had it not become public knowledge. The Twitter files. Subsequent admissions by Big Tech. It all unwound and helped elect Trump, whose DNI, Tulsi Gabbard, just released details on a Biden-era domestic spying and censorship scheme.
More.
“Optimize and create, as appropriate, interagency federal and state level data sharing arrangements to improve real-time data and information sharing to identify individuals at risk in order to target interventions at the local, state, and federal level,” the declassified plan explains.
The administration hoped to drive “executive and legislative action, including banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.” Their goal has become law in Colorado, where Democratic Gov. Jared Polis recently approved an absurdly restrictive gun bill.
The document also references implementation of the bizarrely named “COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act,” signed into law in May 2021, as part of “improv[ing] federal hate crimes data and analysis to eliminate hate crimes under-reporting; mitigat[ing] xenophobia and bias, including by advancing inclusion in the nation’s COVID-19 response.” Are we to understand that the coronavirus was committing hate crimes against innocent pedestrians?
As you all know, hate crimes and related laws or rules are nothing more than the progressive censorship industrial complex shenanigans. It’s thought crime legislation. The presumption of guilt is based on what they want to believe you were thinking, and an infrastructure to punish you for that.
Framing it as the government’s war on domestic terrorism attempted to give it legitimacy, but it was little more than what Russia, Cuba, or China do to suppress resistance to their tyrannical agendas. Once established, it is used to undermine dissent, which includes any opposing thought. Every naysayer becomes a political opponent, and every political opponent becomes a domestic terrorist.
I hope that makes you feel even better about your vote for Trump.
And if you voted for Biden, you’re already living in denial, but I feel compelled to remind you that you wouldn’t be allowed to disagree with either. That Kamala Harris would have moved this forward, as might any Democrat with the political power and no one to stop them.
So, who was the Hitlerian party again? The one deploying the massive censorship and spying scheme or the one that exposed it?
