The full impact of the DOGE raid on USAID may not be fully known until the 2026 midterms. With billions brought back into the barn and tethered, the army of NGOs that used to launder them into Democratic campaigns will have to find resources somewhere else.
Don’t look at your donor class. Deep Pocketed Dems are having irreconcilable differences with the candidates they used to support.
Democratic donors — from bundlers to small dollar donors — say they are still angry about the election results and uninspired by anything their side has put forward since then.
“I’ll be blunt here: The Democratic Party is f‑‑‑ing terrible. Plain and simple,” one major Democratic donor said. “In fact, it doesn’t get much worse.”
A second donor was equally as pointed. “They want us to spend money, and for what? For no message, no organization, no forward thinking. … The thing that’s clear to a lot of us is that the party never really learned its lesson in 2016. They worked off the same playbook and the same ineffective strategies and to what end?”
Ironically, American Taxpayers are having a similar experience as it relates to how the overwhelming Democrat-run deep state has been spending their money. And with a full investigation into the shenanigans at Act Blue likely (since Texas AG Ken Paxton started one of his own), Democrat campaign troughs might have difficulty finding mid-term feed for their sheeple.
What About Democracy?
The clown show has to have other observers asking the same question as I am. A group of very successful beneficiaries of the free market system and American form of government, upon whom Democrat politicians are fiscally co-dependent, is upset about irresponsible spending.
That’s like some John bitching about the itching he picked up from the dirty whores he likes to frequent. The Democrat party is, by design, irresponsible with other people’s money.
They are also reportedly upset about everyone hiding Joe Biden’s mental challenges from them, the subsequent undemocratic ascension of Kamala Harris, and the waste fraud and abuse that followed, leading to her drubbing in the General election.
Where have you been? The DNC f**ked Bernie Sanders Twice, and I can’t recall much complaining over that. The party’s mission is to end the republic and break elections, making them meaningless (as in, no more democracy), and you can’t have been giving them bags of money for years without knowing this.
Then again, it appears you didn’t see Joe Biden’s mental decline while millions of people to whom you wouldn’t give the time of day couldn’t unsee it.
As for the Dems and their donors, I’m sure they’ll come around in the end, but not without a plan. The Party has lacked focus and direction. Even after appointing party leadership, the clown car appears rudderless. But not to worry. Fortunately for all concerned, street violence and name-calling—things Democrats have always been good at—might be considered a plan.
And there’s always Trump Derangement Syndrome.
However, how they intend to replace all the laundered USAID money is another problem.
