Unity at a Barber Shop

by Jim Bowman

Finally, after the Christmas rush, my barber shop returned to its natural pace. The wait was even gratifying for listening and then partaking in the back and forths, which renewed my faith in Americanism. This should have been expected since a picture of Trump was hanging on a wall that faced a “Go Brandon” sign on the opposite wall.

The thing about barbershops is the friendly atmosphere that usually encourages easy chit-chat.  With such timely decorations in full view, this particular shop has always held fast to this standard, which understandably has been riveted by politics for some time.

This particular occasion was special in that what is normally a male environment was gifted with a middle-aged daughter of an elderly man being groomed in the chair.  In addition, after sitting and listening and judging the lay of the land, this lady joined in with the Biden complaints and the Trump joys. Her contributions added a balance by representing what was anticipated, primarily by media theorizing, as a more likely Harris (Biden) voter.  This assumption was laughingly mentioned, which was met by her firm denial.  I must admit that today’s session was so pleasing and encouraging that after my turn in the chair, I remained to further partake in the joyful expectations of January 20th

Among the discussed subjects were the endless examples of the Biden outlaw clan.  While his lifeless existence in the Senate has been well-worn storytelling, today’s revelations of corruption now entail disloyalty, which borders upon acts of treason.  When reviewing his dismal leadership and anti-American policies, we all agreed it was dependent upon a democrat hierarchy that endorsed his candidacy while hiding his mental instabilities.

Our resounding question was simply, “How could this have happened in America?”  Our disbelief was apparent but insufficient to the underlying causes, which sadly still remain.  This was where the barber shop interaction ended, for me anyway.  I bid farewell with brightened spirits, especially when that day awaits in January.  However, along with my personal uplifting, that reasoning which permitted this travesty continued to nag.

Along with this Presidential perfidy, what hammers home is what Trump very early on termed “an enemy of the people,” the media!  Not only did it fail in its mission to investigate, it also failed to report any pertinent and factual knowledge!  This intentional act of deception, while previously used intermittently, became policy during Biden’s criminal tenure in our Oval Office and as such, nearly equaled the severity of Biden’s.

As it was agreed today during my grooming, Americans are now realizing just what is happening and, more importantly, what is at stake.  Therefore, removing this corruption from our Presidency, Americans must also embrace the responsibilities of their Blessed birth rights by cleansing this communist propaganda outlet called fake news.  Then, with a renewed and active electorate, our efforts can center upon raising the caliber of those elected to both Houses.  If not, as Ben Franklin, in part, so wisely stated, “…As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters…”  Such a future needs not to be inherited!  God Bless America!
