Empty Pant Suit, Unfit To Lead

During a campaign stop in Pennsylvania, Kamala was asked to “…explain how you are going to pay for those [programs]. And can you give us a sense of what other policies you want to unveil moving forward?”  Harris ignored the question and dove into another word salad.

Sure, well, I mean, you just look at it, in terms of what we are talking about, for example, around children and the child tax credit and extending the EITC [Earned Income Tax Credit] … That, it’s at $6,000, for the first year of a child’s life. The return on that investment, in terms of what that will do and what it will pay for, will be tremendous. We’ve seen it, when we did it, for the first year of our administration. We reduced child poverty by over 50%, so that’s a lot of the work…

What the heck does that mean? And how are you going to pay for anything you just said?  And do you consider taxes, programs?  The child poverty rate more than doubled from a historic low of 5.2% in 2021 to 12.4% in 2022.  Or so says the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. The utterance seems to be false, but who knows what she intends.  Does Harris grasp that a tax credit is a spending measure?

Kamala went on, “And then, what we’re doing in terms of the tax credit — we know that there’s a great return on that investment. When we increase home ownership in America, what that means, in terms of increasing the tax base, not to mention the property tax base, what that does to fund schools, again, return on investment…

To which the response is, huh?  We know nothing of the kind.  Ms. Kamalamadingdong has no plan for how to pay for her communist joy and hope programs.  She is going around promising free stuff, paid for by taxpayers.  Saying things like, “… I think it’s a mistake for anyone who talks about public policy to not critically evaluate how you measure the return on investment…”

Fine, so what is she going to measure? … That’s assuming you can figure out where the money for the investment will come from.  America is broke; we have no money, and our spending exceeds our revenue.  Spending money we don’t have requires monetizing the debt… creating inflation.  Who likes inflation?  Raise your hand if you like inflation.

Kamala said, “When you are strengthening neighborhoods, strengthening communities — and in particular, the economy of those communities and investing in a broad-based economy — everybody benefits. And it pays for itself.”

No, nothing works that way.  A program is a process.  First, you set out a mission and a scope.  Then, you design a process that can accomplish the mission within the scope.  Next, the process must be funded. Great nations are built from strong communities, not the other way around.  It’s a corollary to; all work is done by individuals…

If you do not spend the money on the people, materials, plant, and equipment, nothing happens. There’s no investment.  That implies there can be no return.  So, how will you pay for your policies and programs?

Kamala was mocked on social media for her word salad masquerading as a policy position, and rightly so. Whenever she opens the pie hole, she affirms that she is a harebrained, DEI-hire sock puppet operated by unelected bureaucrats on the Extreme left.  How many votes has she ever gotten in a presidential primary?  … ZERO… Democracy, my aching aunt’s fanny.
