Despite The criticism of the Republican National Convention by the mainstream media, the gathering was the most extraordinary showing of party unity and vision for the future since Reagan in 1980. For four nights in Milwaukee, the excitement grew towards the climax of Donald J. Trump appearing on stage for the first time since the assassination attempt on the former President and delivering a speech that combined the tone of a new, humbled Trump and the red meat of the old fiery version. Some of the comments by the Left are too bizarre to repeat and show the panic mode they are in, but CNN’s Van Jones had two moments of honesty that cut through the Left’s rhetoric. One occurred when he compared the two parties and the apparent turmoil of the Democrats, and the second was when he compared the excitement and unity of the Trump-led Republicans to the Democrats with Obama in 2008.
Since the bottom of the box of lies about Joe Biden fell open after The Debate, the list of Democrats calling for Joe Biden to drop out of the race has grown daily. Some influential Dems in leadership positions like Schumer, Jeffries, and Pelosi are now going public with their desire for Joe to call it a day. This swelling of concern is angering Joe Biden and causing him to be even more defiant. The old man is unwilling to give up the keys to the Vette and is going down, kicking and screaming.
In addition to the Party infighting that is on display daily, the polls continue to reinforce the belief that this election may already be over. The Democrats are now concerned with saving as many down-ballot races as possible, and as long as Biden stays in the race, contributors are not willing to throw their money at a lost cause. Time is running out, and the Dems need to sever Joe and Kamala to save whatever they can of the Party. With little support for the incumbents, waning support for their policies, and the prospect of mass protests in Chicago for the Democrat Convention, how worse can it get for the Left?
If Joe is still the candidate in August, the convention will be a battleground to get him to endorse a new candidate to run against Trump and to boot Harris to the curb. The two of them have to go as a package. The Democrats will then face two challenges before November. One will be the Constitutional battle of getting a replacement candidate on the ballots in all 50 states and territories, and the other will be money. Biden can only pass his war chest to Harris. A new candidate will be starting from scratch, and with the Republicans flush with cash and not having to spend much now, they will be at a massive advantage as this race nears November 5.
The Democrats deserve no mercy for their dilemma. Up and down the ranks, including the media, they conspired to lie about the condition of Joe Biden. They are all complicit in the most extraordinary political conspiracy since Watergate, and they should not only pay the price at the ballot box but they should be held accountable to the American people. Fifty million people were watching Joe Biden implode at the debate. More people will watch the party dysfunction at the convention, which may be the first time some Americans will see the truth. The DNC Convention will be the biggest boom for Republicans who could never buy the amount of positive attention the Dems are about to gift them. The RNC held a unity party in Milwaukee. The DNC is about to have the biggest Irish Wake in history in Chicago. Trust me, there will be no Republican tears shed in the Windy City.
