At a “secret” meeting (again, who opened their big yammer??) that was blasted all over the political world here in NH of a group of conservatives, WMUR’s Adam Sexton showed up with his cameraman trying to get the jist of what was going on (and if someone was going to spill the beans as to what’s going on). You really think that what is going on in Europe is only a set of bedraggled migrants seeking succor from the vicissitudes of war? Then you have no sense of history. The real question is whether or not Western Society has enough love for itself to not let it fall from within. I have my doubts as all I keep seeing here in the US, especially from the Left and Academia (but I repeat myself) is quite the self-loathing of our history and our culture. So watch this and listen. I generally don’t use Twitter a lot expect for when there is a political event like the Prez debates – then it works well for quick pithy (or snarky) remarks. I also try to pick out friends’ tweets that work well, raise an eyebrow, or have some data in there and either retweet or quote them. And then sometimes, I just have to tweet a “really”?
