That’s the transcript from the video that’s after the jump. What the HECK did this nitwit think, doing a video / audio LIVE report standing in an active indoor firing range with next to multiple lanes occupied by shooters? I guess this guy decided that “looking cool at the range” would be just dandy for someone that obviously hasn’t shot much and obviously had no information on which to think this through – or WAY too much faith in his microphone and recorder.

The Constitution states that the President is to nominate to the Supreme Court, the Senate is to advise and consent.  The two are completely separate and are dependent only in that the President must first nominate.  The Senate is to advise and Senator Sasse is about to do so:

“One sub-part of your job is that, when there’s a vacancy on the Supreme Court, you have the right to nominate someone to fill it. One sub-part of my job is that I’m supposed to provide advice and consent on who you might nominate. Mr. President, I’m here to provide you some advice on how you would get my consent. I recommend that you take your potential nominee and go and stand in the Rose Garden and have that nominee explicitly repudiate your ‘I have a pen and I have a phone’ theories of executive unilateralism.”

Laying down the gauntlet with a quiet shiv to the ribs at the same time – well done as there is nothing wrong with “strings attached for consent”!  Please also note that

The Broken Windows of law enforcement (and voter fraud legislation)? Here’s a CLEAR evidential example of how NH isn’t bothering to do its required policing to keep our votes safe.

Really – DEMOCRATS conspiring to take advantage of the loopholes in our voting laws (that other Democrats put in) as well?  Whodda thunk it?  Well, it certainly seems like Hugo Palma, the regional field director for the Bernie Sanders campaign thought he’d give it the ole political college try, doesn’t it.  Listen to how openly speaks (“No, I voted here”)…

…and then clams up real quick.

It is clear that, once again, true investigative journalism is showing how easily NH’s voter laws can be mocked by those that have no regard for the letter or the spirit of the law.  It also shows the contempt in which we should all hold our politicians for doing such a crappy job in writing these laws and for those organizations, like the League of Women Voters and the ACLU, that work hard to undermine them as well with “drive by” lawsuits.

The Democrats are certainly changing the moral landscape – it once was that people had their internal sense of morality to do the right things (and in this case, I would say to vote absentee from where your real domicile is rather than the “one of convenience and platform to do wrong” but I guess Al Gore had it right for today’s Dems: No authorizing legal authority.  No law, no foul.  Strip away the internal sense of right and wrong – if there is no law to strictly prohibit something, who the heck cares?

After all John, John Kasich has said the following:

“Isn’t that interesting,” Kasich said as the crowd around her gasped. However, without mentioning his political allegiance or correcting the voter, Kasich went on to position himself as a good compromise between Sanders and Clinton saying, “One of them’s too hot, one of them’s too cold, but I’ve got the right temperature.”

And:

On February 5, while talking to a Democratic voter in New Hampshire, the Ohio governor exclaimed, “I ought to be running in a Democrat primary. I got more Democrats for me — you have any Republican friends?”

Really!  This is what one wants to hear from a Republican self-avowing being a conservative?  To position themselves between a self-avowed Socialist (and as people dig, more a Communist than a Socialist) and a Saul Alinsky accolyte (also a Socialist, just more discrete about it)?  What kind of a Conservative is that?  And then John Jr. gets upset (H/T: another RedState) when Kasich is called on it?

“Just now on CNN, Kasich surrogate John Sununu, Jr. was asked about why conservatives do not like John Kasich. He started rattling off some talking points, then host Carol Costello dropped two separate RedState quotes on him. He didn’t seem to enjoy the experience very much.”

This past Saturday we had Lisa Dejardines on GrokTALK! – it wasn’t clear to me at the start what we were supposed to talk about but it sure was a lot of fun and on some deep issues (we’ve asked her to come back if her Bosses will let her).  However, the main reason she was in studio was to do an interview with Steve which will run during the NH First In The Nation Primary this Tuesday.

Yup, those jolly jesters of the “poke them in their political eyes” genre of investigative journalism have done it again.  Here.  In New Hampshire.  During the First In the Nation Primary.  Did I mention “Again”?  Yep, James O’Keefe and his compatriots are showing us, once again, that the “thing that cannot happen here in NH” actually can be done thanks to clueless (or better put, hyper-partisan) election officials more excited about helping “their side” than protecting The Rule of Law.

So, will former NH Assistant AG Dick Head come out of retirement to track James O’Keefe down?  Will he (or his replacement) be having someone knocking on Grokster Mike’s door?  Will the newest version of “the manila envelope” open up and spill my picture on the ground?  Stay tuned for this riveting second round of the parody “Vote, vote, who is stealing our votes!”.

In the meantime, here’s a bit of a transcript – and it TRULY is very sad.  If we cannot trust government workers to obey the law, see to it that the laws are faithfully kept both in the Letter as well in Spirit of it, well, why should we little people have to follow it?  The Rule of Law is only effective when it applies to ALL.  But the transcript showing that those that would want to break the Law have willing co-conspirators in those that should be shouting “Hey, I need Law Enforcement here!”
