“Burglars for Gun Control”

Anything to become part of the victim class here in America.  What’s next – the claim they’re suffering from the stigma of being “wealth redistribution agents” so don’t judge them?   (H/T: We the Internet via The Blaze)

Under the veneer of “the market”, the socialist appears – Lurch

Ah yes, John Kerry, US SecState, extols “the market” as it adapts to “the signal”.  Well golly, he sounds like an Austrian economist, doesn’t he, as he pontificates while at COP21, the big UN sponsored wealth redistribution fest under the umbrella of saving the planet. But I guess he thinks we all be stupid, eh Bruce Curie, as he already let the cat out of the bag (here).

This is a short lecture given by Jonathan Haidt at the William F. Buckley Jr. Program at Yale University.  Coddling U. vs. Strengthening U.  Which is better for students in the era of diversity?  H/T to Kevin Kervick.

Leadership by Hillary campaign ad!

Yep, that’s Hillary all right: a Vision for prosperity, extreme Loyalty, Courage to stand up, Smart Power, Fiscal Responsibility, Private Sector success, Job creation; what a candidate! Yup, that’s right: “technically allowed to run for President” (H/T: Progressives Today)

Jettiness – now 3D printed!

And with this little clip on a 3D printing, it shows that yet another future manufacturing era is almost here.  The bonus that is in this is that it goes 150 MPH! ….3D printing just hit another benchmark, with the recent announcement by Aurora Flight Sciences and Stratasys Ltd that they have developed a 3D-printed, … Read more

Game of Loans

“Why does student debt keep going up and up even as it’s harder and harder to find a good job with a college degree? And why does it seem that the more aid the government and colleges give, the less it helps? Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, shows how politicians and universities have … Read more

MicroInterview: WMUR’s Adam Sexton

New WMUR logoAt a “secret” meeting (again, who opened their big yammer??) that was blasted all over the political world here in NH of a group of conservatives, WMUR’s Adam Sexton showed up with his cameraman trying to get the jist of what was going on (and if someone was going to spill the beans as to what’s going on).  Needless to say, he asked for a quick interview: so I did on Kelly Ayotte and the NH US Senatorial Primary.  But before that, Adam also interviewed Bill O’Brien (a much better person to interview):

My interview after the jump and Mike asks about the loaded question that Josh McElven asked Pam Tucker  on this past Sunday’s CloseUP

Instead of being thankful for taking in migrants…

You really think that what is going on in Europe is only a set of bedraggled migrants seeking succor from the vicissitudes of war?  Then you have no sense of history.  The real question is whether or not Western Society has enough love for itself to not let it fall from within.  I have my doubts as all I keep seeing here in the US, especially from the Left and Academia (but I repeat myself) is quite the self-loathing of our history and our culture.  So watch this and listen.  Yes, I normally write here to ignore politician’s words and only watch their actions.  Here, I believe the words and actions are aligned together:

Hillary: “name two accomplishments”

Really, I did not know that these were accomplishments: “As Secretary of State, she did not fight with Obama” “Being the President’s wife” Given her philandering husband Bill, I’d give her that. But that’s the best these Hillary supporters can come up with? (H/T: Progressives Today)

Really, Skip, you agreed with him?

I generally don’t use Twitter a lot expect for when there is a political event like the Prez debates – then it works well for quick pithy (or snarky) remarks.  I also try to pick out friends’ tweets that work well, raise an eyebrow, or have some data in there and either retweet or quote them.  And then sometimes, I just have to tweet a “really”?

Where this uber Leftist tweeted:
