David “Muddy” Watters bill (SB 244 ) to create the mental health equivalent of a “no fly list” for the feds so they can be told whom not to sell a firearm, has more problems than we can shake a fire-stick at. Susan Olsen does most of this argument justice here and here, so I have no intention of rehashing that now. But there is one point which I have not seen discussed that does need ‘airing.’ A detrimental side-effect that was observed in New York State, not that long ago.
Yesterday afternoon a NH House Rep. sent me a “heads up” that the Nashua Telegraph’s political doodler Kevin Landrigan had made note (on Facebook) of the frequency of articles at GraniteGrok regarding the DuckGate case of Nashua NH House Democrat David Campbell–a case with a number of unanswered questions that suggest a police commissioner helped hide the fact that David Campbell was drunk when he hit some ducks and ran away from police.
Mr. Landrigan remarked “Very Conservative GraniteGrok stays obsessed with Duck Gate scandal. 7th item in two weeks.” Then there is a link to a tweet of the same construction.
A rather brisk discussion ensued on his Facebook wall, to which I contributed, but I failed to make an important point that should have seemed obvious at the time.

HB1589, which has a scheduled committee hearing tomorrow (January 21, 2014 @1:15pm in Representatives Hall), is an attack on essential liberties, not just a gun-grabber bill.

The goal of having Judd Gregg in this lobbying firm is to “increase trust and confidence in the financial markets?

I know that NHFC President Jon Evans and I have been asking a lot of you lately. However, you the grass roots gun owners are our strength. To be honest, whenever the legislature is in session, our Second Amendment rights are at risk. We must be vigilant.
While we have been warning you about SB 244, a bill that would create a new gun ban for tens of thousands of Granite Staters, the anti-gun activists have been preparing to pass a ban on private gun sales.
The gun ban crowd is pushing HB 1589, a bill that will put you in prison for up to 7 years for selling a gun to a friend or neighbor. That’s right, under the provision of HB 1589 you can’t even dispose of your private personal property without going to a licensed firearms dealer.
This bill will criminalize commonplace activities you probably don’t even think about. Ever loan your rifle to a friend on a hunting trip? Ever let a friend try out one of your guns at the shooting range? If HB 1589 is passed, these are the kinds of things that could land you in jail!
HB 1589 is so broad that any transfer that is not completed by a licensed dealer subjects the transfer0r to the penalties of a Class B felony!

The weirdo/wife-murderer in a Massachusetts prison is supposedly going to get a sex realignment/mutilation job at the expense of taxpayers – not paid for by Hollywood , Harvard, or Federal judges, who cheer on this type of thing, and who, by the way, have the extra cash.
Rush calls the opposite of what this “surgical operation/mutilation” is, an “addadicktome” and that is probably the best description. Thanks Rush!

Here is a key phrase or two:
Two Nashua Alderman are calling for the resignation of Nashua Police Commissioner Thomas Pappas. Long story short…
According to a police report, Campbell had a couple of drinks at a Crowne Plaza restaurant Dec. 23 and then ran over several mallard ducks with his BMW outside the hotel. Pappas, Campbell’s friend and attorney, then picked up Campbell from the hotel. Pappas contacted the police department about two hours after the accident to ask if Campbell could come to the police station the next day.
Pappas did not pick up Campbell from the hotel. Campbell went to the lobby, heard the police were on the way, ran across the hotel parking-lot and down the road, at 10pm, in freezing cold weather, (with a “a few drinks in him”) to his law office 1000 feet from the hotel, where he called Pappas; who then picked him up there–with Police just across the way at the scene. He then sequestered (which clearly connotes something very bad) Campbell’s inebriated ass at a secret location with “no telephone.”
I’ve asked a lot of questions, but here is a new one. Why does a Nashua Police Commissioner hide “a long-time friend and sober Democrat state legislator” from their own police force? Answer: “He’s not sober.”

Abortion Barbie lied but will her campaign die?
That’s right, Wendy Davis, (see: women who filibuster to protect the right to kill babies are so groovy), has admitted, the way Democrats do that, to lying. Her re-framing of the fact that she lied goes something like this–
“My language should be tighter,” she said, admitting her campaign biography has been less than truthful.

Davis may even have lied under oath, testifying in a federal lawsuit over redistricting that “I got divorced by the time I was 19 years old,” when in fact she was divorced at age 21.
Other missing details have included: her second husband paid her way through law school and she divorced him the day after the last payment was made; her ex-husband accused her in initial court filings of adultery, and was awarded custody of their two daughters; and she first ran for city council in Fort Worth as a Republican.
Using others, misrepresenting facts, accusations of adultery and perjury–She should be running for Governor of Texas as the Female Bill Clinton!
Someone, bless their heart, has compiled a well-sourced (their words) list of 519 examples of Barack Obama’s lying, corruption, law-breaking and cronyism.
I am posting it as is with the understanding that it may take me days or even weeks to go through it, if I ever do manage to get through it.
I encourage you to comment on any point, refute, support, dispute, at your discretion, just understand that I am simply providing it for us to review and that is what we should do. (And yes, I expect the list will generate more than a few new posts about the content.)

When New Hampshire Democrat State Party Chair, Ray Buckley expresses concern about newly employed NHGOP Executive Director Matt Mowers (who worked for Chris Christie) being questioned about closing some lanes on a bridge, and whether Mowers will bring these tactics to New Hampshire, I have to laugh.
The New Hampshire Democrat State Party Vice Chair, Martha Fuller Clark, had eight people registered to vote from her single family home–in the historic vote-fraud district of Portsmouth. Most never actually lived there, though Fuller-Clark may have been renting illegally to at least one.
A growing number of other New Hampshire Democrats brought adult children back to the state long enough to vote here last November, most voted absentee from their real homes outside the state. Several elected Democrats had residents from Massachusetts “claim to live here” to vote then go home. Many of them voted absentee, probably from their homes outside the state.
