Rumor has it that the NH Republican majority Senate is ready to dust off Republican sponsored SB 120, and push it through the legislature.  The democrats could not be happier.

SB 120 is a bill that redefines what a committee is, and what classifies as an expenditure for the purposes of political speech.  And it defines speech in terms of spending.  Democrats might want to observe that if you can limit political speech by limiting spending that spending is equal to speech.  If you are a Republican you might want to note that the Supreme Court has weighed in on this and you are on the wrong side.

Then came the waxen Obama soaring on hope and change, the president who would remake the world along the lines envisioned in a college faculty lounge or a Chicago organizing session. Obama was not a Buchananite isolationist who would be easy for Europeans to caricature. Rather, he is a postmodern, postracial progressive, who deeply felt either that traditional U.S. alliances were not worth the commitment, or that the U.S. was properly moving away from its European heritage and thus without any need for special trans-Atlantic relationships, or that an internationally engaged America came at the expense of dollars better spent on redistributive entitlements at home — or all three and more still.

The result is that the Europeans are increasingly bewildered if not a little anxious. They cannot reduce Obama, a man of the Left, to a caricatured Texan who often misunderstands the world, because Obama is an Ivy Leaguer who has never yet understood it.

Progressivism highly depends on one item – a lack of education in history.  Without a firm foundation of what and WHY something has happened in the past, well, you can say anything you want, even lies, in misleading people.  Why?  They have no idea on how to respond to that lie.  For this guy, Manual Martinez, his history was up close and personal.  He’s already been through this “it is for your protection” before – and he lost his country to Communism (also known as Progressivism, for the end goal is the same).

Yellow.  As in, Rubber Duck Yellow.  Yes, I have been accused, by a reader, of Yellow Journalism.  OK. I can work with that.  I can work with it because all my data came from local news, who got it from the Nashua police.  If there is other news to be had, no one is sending it to me.  So I figured, at this point, I should recap what we have on Duck-Gate so far, and point back to the original source…again.

So where do we begin?  The Nashua Telegraph drove almost every post I wrote, at least a dozen of them now,  so let’s see what they had to say and why?  What were their sources, and how did I piece them together over time to arrive at the content I produced along the way.

• DC based US Republicans Representatives & Senators – willing to contravene The Rule of Law and grant Amnesty to illegal aliens

• Concord based NH State Senate Republicans – sent to Concord to stop the expansion of Government (locking arms with Democrats to do just that and more than willing to implement Obamacare (via Medicaid Expansion)

• DC based US Republicans Representatives & Senators – sent to DC to stop the spending (yet again, running away to not fight another day) –

So, in these three issues, how do the Republicans differ from the Democrats?  Ask yourself – why are Republicans acting to move Democrat issues FORWARD! contra “Republican Principles” (which are looking mighty poorly, given the beating that our elected Republican officials have been giving them)?  Why are they so willing to give us, the base who support the Platform and the US / NH Constitutions?  I must admit, being an ordinary schlub, can’t come up with a single reason OTHER than they think helping the Democrats push these issues will enhance their personal political careers.  I certainly hope not – I hope this ruins them.

I have called these NH politicians “Jr. Partners of the Democrat Party” – they were not amused at all (as you might imagine).

I have called these NH politicians “Least Lackeys of the Progressive Welfare State” – they got really pissed for some reason.

CONCORD, N.H., February 7, 2014 –  Yesterday, the (Democrat Majority) New Hampshire house approved a bill which deems federal indefinite detention powers unconstitutional, and bans “any activity that aids” the federal government in carrying out such powers. “The attorney general’s office yesterday released the names of five Weare police officers who it says were “involved” in a drug bust turned bloody shoot-out last summer, which left a man dead and is now at the center of a lengthy criminal investigation.”

The top story in the Southern New Hampshire edition of today’s Union Leader; Kimberly Hougton reports– Aldrman: Campbell should step down.

Alderman Ken Siegel, Ward 9, told the New Hampshire Union Leader on Thursday that Campbell, D-Nashua, should follow in his friend’s footsteps and resign in light of the recent duck scandal.

“His actions were not appropriate, and it goes beyond just the killing of the ducks,” Siegel said of Campbell. “This is not about the ducks anymore.”

I’ve been saying it for weeks, obsessing over it–if Telegraph scribbler Kevin Landrigan can be believed.
