She’s at it again – wanting to disarm the American public.  This time, she shows that she’s no stalwart of the constitutional process if it means she can use other means to get to her end point.  Thus, with Obama promising to go around Congress, she’s all in for handing the Senate and House’s Constitutional responsibilities over to the Executive Branch.  So, we wonder why we are in such deep sneakers as a country with such feckless leaders?  Here is her letter to The Won:

Why would planned Parenthood want to unseat a Democrat State legislator whom they endorsed in 2010?  The legislator is Democrat Margo Davidson.  Margo’s cousin is Semika Shaw.  Shaw is the woman who died as a result of the ministrations of one Kermit Gosnell.

Davidson supported legislation in Pennsylvania that would bring abortion clinics in line with other health care facilities, requiring regular inspections to ensure that conditions like those in Gosnell’s clinic did not affect the health and lives of any other women in the state.

Today I honor [Semika’s] memory by voting for this legislation that seeks to safeguard the health of women that is long overdue, so that never again will a woman walk into a licensed healthcare facility in the state of Pennsylvania and be butchered, as she was, with her uterus perforated and her death of sepsis and infection permeating in her body till she writhed in pain on the floor of her home to her ultimate death.  And today I thank the members of this house that supported this legislation for the safety of women.

Rep Davidson saw Gosnell’s clinic for what it was; the back alley abortion clinic that Democrats promised they would protect women like Semika from having to endure.  Her reward from Planned Parenthood?  Their endorsement of her primary candidate.

You could do a lot of good with a growing economy that results in a state with a nearly Billion Dollar Surplus.  Meanwhile, here in New Hampshire, Democrats are already spending that Medicaid Money and looking for new taxes.

Limbaugh cited an Associated Press report run Wednesday on page A14 of the New York Times about the Wisconsin Assembly passing Walker’s $504 million tax-cut plan. As previously reported by TheBlaze, Walker intends to use part of Wisconsin’s projected $977 million surplus to pay for property and income tax cuts.

Have We Lost All Sanity?

 I’ll bet you didn’t know NH now offers animals/pets rights to protection under domestic violence. Yes, that is right. PETS now have legislated rights under HB1410. Never mind that cruelty to animals is already a crime on the books. Animals now deserve rights analogous to human beings. Now, speed ahead to HB 1503 which sought to offer a remedy to the fact that human babies have no status under NH law.

If you are drunk driving and during a car accident, kill an unborn baby, that baby has NO legal status. The person driving the vehicle CANNOT be charged for the crime of causing the death of that baby. HB 1503 tried to remedy this (just as the NH State Supreme Court has suggested) by offering a Fetal Homicide bill for the sole purpose of defining “fetus” during a criminal act. This bill also defined CLEARLY that women obtaining abortions would NOT be affected in anyway by this Fetal Homicide bill. Abortion rights are already secure rights in the US Constitution.

Philippians 4:13.  A very simple verse but one that has very deep meaning for Christians.  It is an acknowledgement that there is Someone bigger than self, a higher power.  It is a telling about that we are not as strong as we might believe but that Faith can transcend even the worst of conditions.  It is also an acknowledgement that of a position of servanthood.  It speaks, not to a given religion or sect, but to a relationship.

A profession of faith; used to be common, very common. Not a big deal at all.  No longer.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation has multiple bees in their bonnets – they seem to hate anyone who has a religious expression in their body or outlook.  They strut around in a bubble that must not be pierced by any hint of a religious expression; they believe they can demand that everyone else accede to THEIR pseudo-made up right “not to be offended by religious displays in the public square”.  Any and all mentions of God must not only be removed from their sight but be prevented from ever being seen or heard.

They are turning the First Amendment on its head and have no problem in being the Bullies that have no compunction in using the threat of a law suit (e.g., Lawfare) to silence those that hold opposite positions.  Angry people, they are.  Self-important, too.  And now for a simple exercise of his religious faith, they are targeting him.

The Union leader has a story about the NH Democrats new Paint Tax.  NH House Democrats pushed it through yesterday, and I wrote about it here.

Rep. Scott Burns, D-Franklin, argued the program is voluntary for retail establishments and would help cities and towns save on paint disposal costs.

He argued that the bill does not institute a tax, but places a fee on retailers.

Two points. First, I read HB1570.  I did not get the sense that it was voluntary. Perhaps I missed that, but my gut feeling is that Democrat leadership lied to its caucus or New Hampshire Democrat Scott Burns is lying for them.

We know Democrats don’t really care about jobs or the economy, or expanding oil and natural gas projects would be at the top of the list.  These energy development projects would be self-funded (no taxpayer boondoggles), and would require the oil and gas companies to invest their own cash on materials, employees, wages, and benefits, all of which would inject new revenue into the economy while lessening dependency on taxpayer-funded support systems.

We know democrats don’t want that. It could also mean affordable energy, lower gas prices, warmer winters, which Democrats also seem to oppose.  What I don’t get is why they would object to the government and the states involved earning more tax revenue without having to raise or add taxes?  (Did that question just answer itself?)

So how about another incentive, particularly when it comes to the keystone XL Pipeline?  According to the environmental left–depending on what day of the week it is, Koch industries could lose billions.

More oil would lower prices and cost them profits.

The Republican Party right now acts like a union. You go in as a youngster, you spend enough time there you eventually become a leader. If you say anything bad about the party you’re a scab. That’s a union. For the rest of us Republicans, that’s the culture we despise.

Right on!   That quote is from J.D. Winteregg, via TheDC,(emphasis mine) a schoolteacher running for congress in Ohio’s 8th district.  Why should we care about some guy running in Ohio’s 8th District?  For those that do not know, his primary opponent.  His opponent is the Orange One. Yes, John “heads down bottoms up, no such thing as too craven” Boehner.  I can’t stand the Orange One. He epitomizes the putrid pusillanimity in D.C.: Big Government Republicans.

I’ve written about the establishment’s thuggishness against the conservatives and also that the idea that Republicans  simply winning elections is the be all end all is a loser for conservatives, here, here, and here. Mike touched on this as well. It’s not an opinion, it’s an empirical fact. And many others are reaching the same conclusion and that’s a good thing.
