Big Government:

Rep. Julia Brownley (D-CA), a first-term representative whose district includes parts of Ventura County, Simi Valley and the San Fernando Valley, has apparently removed her support for Obamacare from her campaign website. As recently as late February (see cached image above), Rep. Brownley claimed that the “Affordable Care Act…made some much needed improvements to our health care system.” That section is now gone.

Heh!  So I was curious: who from the NH all-gal Democrat Pack has removed Obamacare from their website too (or hasn’t added it, if a new site)?

Determined Weakness. That’s right – the Obama Pentagon budget is getting  rid of two of our most potent weapons: the Tomahawk cruise missile fired from US Navy ships and submarines and Hellfire missiles from our aviation assets of all services.  Kaput, gone, no more stocking.  Who needs offensive weaponry, I guess Obama is thinking, when we’ve reset up relationship with Russia, China is building up its military solely for parades, North Korea looks at their ICBMs only as party fireworks, the Middle East has no more Islamist problems, and those Iranian mullahs – such kidders!  And the Socialist government in Venezuela is so showing up capitalism and the crowds in the square are just so peachy keen!  What better way to “fundamentally transform” the United States by taking it from being the lone military Superpower to an also ran way down the list?

President Barack Obama is seeking to abolish two highly successful missile programs that experts say have helped the U.S. Navy maintain military superiority for the past several decades.   The Tomahawk missile program—known as “the world’s most advanced cruise missile”—is set to be cut by $128 million under Obama’s fiscal year 2015 budget proposal and completely eliminated by fiscal year 2016, according to budget documents released by the Navy.

In addition to the monetary cuts to the program, the number of actual Tomahawk missiles acquired by the United States would drop significantly—from 196 last year to just 100 in 2015. The number will then drop to zero in 2016.   The Navy will also be forced to cancel its acquisition of the well-regarded and highly effective Hellfire missiles in 2015, according to Obama’s proposal.  The proposed elimination of these missile programs came as a shock to lawmakers and military experts, who warned ending cutting these missiles would significantly erode America’s ability to deter enemy forces.

March 23rd was ObamaCare’s 4th Birthday.   No fanfare?  No celebrations?  No parades?  No Birthday cake?

Taking Skip’s lead, I checked the NH Federal delegation House and Senate Web Sites for Jeanne Shaheen, Carol Shea-Porter, and Ann Kuster.  There were no press releases, no statements, not even a tweet about the 4th anniversary of the glorious passage of ObamaCare.

Senator Jeanne Shaheen can’t run on anything she has done because 99% of it ties her directly to an unpopular president and his even more unpopular health care law.  There are no coat-tails.  No leadership, Shaheen is a follower.  And the momentum is against her.   So why not take a populist position on campaign spending and see if you can get the press to carry your water for you?

I love that game.  When NH Senate candidate Paul ‘Hot Dog’ Hodes (who lost to Sen. Ayotte) played the I’m an outsider card, I buried him with dozens of posts showing his ties to all the inside money DC has to offer.  Shaheen?  Same problem.  So while she is telling New Hampshire to tell Scott brown to take the people’s pledge (even though Brown isn’t even running yet), I figured we should take a look at what that really means and frame that in the context of her typical campaign donor spending profile.

Muslim clerics and leaders of terrorist groups are always telling us what they want. They want us to die.  Survivors will be treated as less than animals.  Allah requires the faithful to cleanse the world to create the global Ummah.  And it is Ok to lie, cheat, break vows, whatever is required. (Just like Democrats.)

The same Democrats who think that a Republican chosing vanilla over chocolate has to be a racist dismiss direct statements from these clerics and terrorists as inconclusive.   And while an obscure Republican asking why they have to pay for a strangers abortion is evidence of hate speech by everyone who was ever a Republican or ever would be, a Muslim Cleric repeating the much stated promise to destroy Israel and enslave its people is just trash talk.

In a recent program on Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), Hamas cleric and MP (member of parliament) Yunis Al-Astal cited the Quran in guiding Muslims to “massacre” the Jews.

He said, “We must massacre them, in order to break them down and prevent them from sowing corruption in the world. They are the ones who still spark the flame of war, but Allah has taken it upon Himself to extinguish it.

Democrats passed ObamaCare.  They fought for it for most of year, and have defended lied about it ever since.  And it is a smoldering, craptastic disaster.  This is a bill sold as a way to get coverage for the uninsured, but as with all things democrats do, it actually incentivize people to go without any insurance at all.

Most of the reasons the Left gave for needing this reform were not true to begin with, so was that the plan all along?  To promise universal or near universal coverage as cover for driving people out of the insurance market?

“How about we screw young people over so severely that they bail on coverage altogether…oh, uh, after we get them to vote for us.”

You guys are the experts?  The smart ones?  How could this be a mistake?  You wrote the law so this has to be intentional.

Matt Drudge advertised the fact that he had to make his first NoBamaCare fine payment for not having insurance.  The left and lefty media went nuts.

Premise?  Tax /Fine /Fee not due to start until 2015, Drudge is lying for political points.  Reality.  Many if not most self-employed/business owners pay taxes quarterly for the next tax year.  The next tax year is 2014.  This is the first quarter of that tax year.  C.
