On Friday, a cowardly day to veto the will of the people, Governor Hassan announced that she once again vetoed a bill that would end almost 100 years of abuse by the state when it comes to pistol/revolver licensing. For two years, Granite Staters have told Hassan that they wanted the abuse by the state to finally come to an end but Hassan decided that Michael Bloomberg’s money was far more important to her than protecting her own constituents.

The UL has yet another evergreen piece on if NH would keep its FITN status during Presidential primaries as the RNC is already contemplating changing things up for the next primary. Nothing new but what caught my eye was the complete idiocy on the part of NH GOP RNC Committeeman Steve Duprey – it’s like he’s absolutely clueless on the differences between the Federal Government and “the various States” – and the Republican Party:

Efforts to have a “closed primary” system, closing the door to independents, runs counter to the 10th amendment, which assigns powers not delegated to the U.S. to the states and the people, Duprey contends.
Senator Shaheen, Governor Hassan, every NH State Senate Democrat, or Democrat candidate need to immediately apologize. For what? For encouraging left-wing agitators and illegal immigrants to do harm to persons and property in the name of their agenda (emphasis mine).
In the course of the riot (not “protest”), they burned American flags, fired pellet guns at people, threw rocks and bottles, attacked a man in a wheelchair, destroyed police vehicles, and even critically injured a police horse. To date, the Left has not condemned, or even apologized for, the violence committed by these thugs. By all appearances, the Left seems to approve of the attempt to use violence to stifle free political expression and to coerce its opponents into silence.
If that red arrow is pointing at the person, that has got to be the most complete and well-done transgender job I’ve ever seen!
Okay, I’m serious now. That is the new pro Hillary ad swirling around the Internet with the intent, and I’m guessing here, of trying to appeal to white men saying basically, “You can be a man and also vote for a woman”.
But I believe one of the many mistakes they are making here, besides using the poster boy for syphilis (I’m serious, it’s the same guy)

(NRO) Dear Yahoo, let me put this in plain English for you. Your premier news personality is “proud” of lying. She “supports” a statement that purports to justify those lies as a form of creative “pause.” This would be a firing offense at any decent opinion journal, much less an organization that purports to objectively report the news. Americans can no longer trust a single news report or a single interview from Couric. They now know that she will unashamedly and proudly deceive them to advance her own ideological agenda.

Now that they have set the ship of state on fire and sent it rudderless toward the rocky shore, New Hampshire State Senators are finding all sorts of reasons not to run for re-election. ‘I’ve done enough damage,’ would be the honest response but no, instead we get, “I want to spend more time with family.”
The latest “rat” to jump from the burning ship (If I may suggest the USS Raleigh, on the state flag) is Nancy Stiles, the reason we ever had to have a discussion about expanding Medicaid in the Granite State. Had a real Republican been in that seat instead of Stiles this would never have been an issue.
