Now that they have set the ship of state on fire and sent it rudderless toward the rocky shore, New Hampshire State Senators are finding all sorts of reasons not to run for re-election. ‘I’ve done enough damage,’ would be the honest response but no, instead we get, “I want to spend more time with family.”

The latest “rat” to jump from the burning ship (If I may suggest the USS Raleigh, on the state flag) is Nancy Stiles, the reason we ever had to have a discussion about expanding Medicaid in the Granite State. Had a real Republican been in that seat instead of Stiles this would never have been an issue.

As you may have heard, Trump brought up Vincent Foster’s death yesterday calling the circumstances of his demise “very fishy.” And they are. For those who do not recall the dark morally bereft days of the Clinton years, Vincent Foster was a Clintonista who apparently killed himself. He worked in slick Willy’s White House for a few months, made a bunch of failed recommendations, and left.  Before that, he was a partner at a law firm where Hillary worked. The same law firm that was involved in the Whitewater Clinton scandal.  Just one of a dozen or so that oozed out of that administration.

Anyway, his death was officially designated a suicide, but it was always a little suspect given his proximity to the Clintons, his work in the White House and at Rose Law firm.  That and well a person who also worked in the Clinton’s White House who just happened to find herself combing through Vincent Foster’s trash looking for documents the night he died didn’t help stifle the stench of fish oil.  Thus, the “very fishy” remark.

But here’s the kicker.

What makes Trump so appealing to so many voters is that the establishment does seem unusually clueless these days. The great American post-Cold War project of seeking peace and security through the construction of a New World Order based on liberal internationalism and American power doesn’t seem to be working very well, and it’s not hard to conclude that neither the neoconservatives nor the Obama-ites really know what they are doing. When it comes to the economy, it’s been clear since the financial crisis of 2008 that something is badly awry and that the economists, so dogmatic and opinionated and so bitterly divided into quarreling schools, aren’t sure how the system works anymore, and have no real ideas about how to make the world system work to the benefit of ordinary voters in the United States. With the PC crowd and the Obama administration hammering away at transgender bathroom rights as if this was the great moral cause of our time, and with campus Pure Thought advocates collapsing into self parody even as an epidemic of drug abuse and family breakdown relentlessly corrodes the foundations of American social cohesion, it’s hard to believe that the establishment has a solid grip on the moral principles and priorities a society like ours needs.

Trump appeals to all those who think that the American Establishment, the Great and the Good of both parties, has worked its way into a dead end of ideas that don’t work and values that can’t save us. He is the candidate of Control-Alt-Delete. His election would sweep away the smug generational certainties that Clinton embodies, the Boomer Progressive Synthesis that hasn’t solved the problems of the world or of the United States, but which nevertheless persists in regarding itself as the highest and only form of truth. . . .

The Left has become emboldened, knowing that the Obama Transformationists have their backs – traditional middle class “fly over” values must be stamped out; anything that overthrows such will be protected.  And those standing up for them, like Brendan Eich, ust be destroyed.  From The Declination (emphasis mine):

The other day, it occurred to me that I have finally become entirely immune to SJW attack. Oh, they can find out who I am and where I live easily enough. Some have already. But I am not concerned with attacks on my person anyway — I am well armed and capable of defending myself.

But they have, in the past, used economic means to come after me. They failed, but I sought to further diversify my income streams to render myself immune to future attacks. I can now say that I am invulnerable to this sort of attack. I have switched to private contracting for the majority of my income. Yes, I still have a day job also, but that is a matter of convenience. I have worked for them for many years, and it has been mutually beneficial. It is a good job. If SJWs were to somehow damage that relationship, however, I could increase my contracting hours by way of compensation and suffer no financial losses.

What is it with the left and banning stuff?  My do they love it so. Speech codes, Trigger warnings,  Micro aggression, Jail “climate deniers”, ban conservatives from campus, ban films, ban musical acts, ban comedians, Repealing the First Amendment. Goodness.. and I can go on!

Ban ban ban. This is what the left does when they can’t win an argument and you just won’t shut up and obey!  The amusing part is that progressives and the left actually like to pretend that they are hip and edgy. But in reality, they’re the keepers and the retreaders of the old, tired, and failed like their 1930 economic model, for example.  They keep re-packaging the same failed tripe and then are astounded that it’s failed..again. (e.g., Obamanomics, for even a more egregious example, see Venezuela)

So be careful, if they’re challenged and they don’t like it, they’ll prefer to treat you like like Komsomol treated AC/DC, Kiss or worst of all Julio Iglesias .   “ They believed neo-fascism was being promoted by the music of AC/DC, KISS, and — the most neo-fascist of all — Julio Iglesias.”
