We finally have a candidate worth voting for in New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District. Jim Lawrence (we had a chat with him on GrokTALK! a few weeks ago) has formally announced his candidacy.
(WMUR) Republican former state Rep. Jim Lawrence has decided to become a candidate for the 2nd District U.S. House seat, and he has hired a veteran New Hampshire operative who has worked in many state and national campaigns to guide his effort.

HUDSON – Veteran, Entrepreneur, small businessman, and three-term State Representative Jim Lawrence today announces his plans to file his campaign for Congress in New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District.
Many of you are aware that, for many years, I have been working diligently on becoming Queen of the Universe. During my reign, it was my plan to use my newly acquired powers – for the most part, anyway – for good instead of evil. Recently, I was beginning to fear that despite all that wishin’ and hopin’, it was not meant to be; however, rumors have it that I have, in fact, been crowned AND that my first act as Queen was to deny 2nd Amendment Rights to persons in possession of medical marijuana cards.

Hillary is awful. She always has been. Absent a loveless political marriage to a charismatic cad she’d be nothing more than one of many shrill militant-feminazi foot-soldiers screeching from the darkness.
Her stint as First Lady was nothing but scandal and failure. Her tenure as a Senator was jejune, rising to the pedestrian at best. As Secretary of State, history will maul her as the little engine that could not, complete with scandals, security failures, and as overseer of one of the greatest diplomatic backslides in modern American history–even though that was mostly Barack Obama’s doing.
And no one can count her accomplishments because she has none.

On Friday, a cowardly day to veto the will of the people, Governor Hassan announced that she once again vetoed a bill that would end almost 100 years of abuse by the state when it comes to pistol/revolver licensing. For two years, Granite Staters have told Hassan that they wanted the abuse by the state to finally come to an end but Hassan decided that Michael Bloomberg’s money was far more important to her than protecting her own constituents.
