Notable Quote – David Solway

Nothing is too big to fail, including civilizations, and ours is no exception. The decline of the West is historically inevitable, subject to the universal principle of entropy that functions on every plane of natural existence, including the cultural. The agencies by which it works on this level are readily isolated: the endemic vices and … Read more

Good question!

BuzzFeed cancels $1.3 million ad buy by RNC because Trump is “hazardous to our health.”

Chaser:

“If BuzzFeed has the right to refuse business because a potential customer supports a policy that offends their conscience, why don’t Christian bakers who are being asked to cater a gay wedding have the same right?

Obviously we’re homophobic and racist for noting that BuzzFeed is being discriminatory but the Left doesn’t

Michelle Obama seems to know as much about White House history as she does mandating school lunches

Michelle Obama - History LessonThe hubris of knowledge…

Yo, Michelle Obama, The House You Wake Up In Was Rebuilt Under Harry Truman. “Okay, America, it’s time for a history lesson. When the First “Lady,” Michelle Obama, claimed recently that the house she wakes up in every day was “built by slaves” the poor woman didn’t realize just how badly she stepped in the historical quicksand.

Did Disgraced Anti- Gun Video Director Violate Federal Gun Laws?

UPDATE June 6, 2016: from Federalist.com:  “Katie Couric’s Producer Confirms Her Team Skirted Federal Gun Laws Multiple firearms law experts disputed Soechtig’s contention that she and her team followed all state and federal laws when they purchased multiple rifles across state lines.”  This looks delicious.

Looks like she did. And she appears quite sanguine about the idea.  Her take seems to be that it’s fine for her to violate laws because she’s special and her beliefs are what everyone should hold. So there. Na-na na na-na na.

In case you missed it, Katie Couric released a video that was selectively edited to make her opponents look like idiots and that she is the keeper of knowledge.  It’s not a documentary, it’s third rate propaganda. For more information see here and here on the Grok.

Here is “Under the Gun” Director Stephanie Soechtig being interviewed in February on something called “The Lip TV”.  See if you can spot the crimes:

UPDATE June 7, 2016: Too late.  Looks like things are closing in Couric, Soechtig and crew. The video has been yanked.  If I can find another copy, I’ll post it.

Ten Things Your Town Needs to Know as it is Targeted for Refugee Resettlement

Refugee Resettlement map of US
Refugee Resettlement map of US

From our good friend Ann Corcoran at Refugee Resettlement Watch (with a hat tip to Kathleen LaBonte LoFaro for the reminder and the link).

Ten things your town needs to know as it is targeted for refugee resettlement

1)  In most cases, the United Nations is choosing our refugees.  Topping the list right now are Iraqis, Burmese, Congolese, Somalis and Bhutanese.  The UN is pressuring the US to take a large number, 10,000 or so, Syrians.  We are bringing in refugees from countries which hate us.  Your town does not get to choose who you get!  You will receive racially, culturally and religiously diverse people, usually very different from your local population and very different from each other.  That old ‘melting pot’ concept is dead because the numbers are too high.

D.C. Demonstrates Complete Left-Wing Disconnect on Jobs and Wages

Minimum wage hikeWashington D.C. hiked its minimum wage. Businesses reacted.

(Free BeaconNearly half of Washington, D.C. employers said they have either laid off employees or reduced the hours of employees to adapt to the District of Columbia’s minimum wage hikes since 2014, according to a report from the Employment Policies Institute.

The city and its Democrat Mayor and City Council want to increase the minimum wage further, to…you guessed it, $15.00/hour.

Guess what business owners had to say about that?

Climate Model True Believers are the Ones Taking an Unscientific Approach

IPCC 2001 Assessment coverGuest Post by James Ring

IPCC Third Assessment Report
Chapter 14
Section 14.2.2.2
Last paragraph:

“In sum, a strategy must recognize what is possible. In climate research and modeling, we should recognize that we are dealing with a coupled non-linear chaotic system, and therefore that the long-term prediction of future climate states is not possible.”

This information was not included in the Summary Report for Policymakers given to the press and public.

If the climate is indeed a coupled non-linear chaotic system (who can doubt the IPCC) then there is no rational or scientific basis to make a definitive statement about a future state of the climate.

Free Jerry DeLemus

jerrydelemusFrom Sue DeLemus.

Jerry’s appeal hearing in Nevada is Monday, June 13th. We have ONE WEEK to accomplish this task! I just heard that two defendants in the Oregon case have been released while awaiting trial. Jake Ryan had a really great petition to present to the Court and I think we might make a difference if we send one of our own from NH.

Even though the Nevada case and the Oregon case are two different situations it may still be very helpful to get this petition signed and sent ASAP. I have spoken to Jerry’s lawyer and he likes the wording and wants to have the signed petitions sent to his office. The address is:

BlogLine of the Day – SHUT YER MOUTH!

There Are No Stop Signs Between Hate Speech Laws and Totalitarianism (H/T: CNSNews, singer Charlie Daniels) Well of course it is – the First Amendment talks only about speech and makes no difference between so-called hate speech and political speech.  Yet, our feckless political class, both the crassest and stupidest in history, fail to learn … Read more

A story about “manning up”

This story parallels that of former Congressman and LTC Allen West (retired) after violating rules of engagement by firing a pistol next to an enemy combatant trying to get info about an impending ambush of his troops – getting the information he needed but then immediately turned himself into his superior officer and suffered the consequences of his actions. Emphasis mine:

SECRETARY WITHOUT HONOR: When I hear people say Clinton emails don’t matter, I remember a young Marine captain who owned up to his career-ruining mistake.
Apologists for Hillary Clinton’s alleged criminal mishandling of classified documents say that it doesn’t matter, that she really did nothing wrong, or nothing significant. But the real question is not so much what she did as how she has responded to being found out.

Once during the mid-1960s when I was on active duty in the Marine Corps, I was the air liaison officer for a battalion of Marines aboard 11 ships in the Mediterranean. As the air officer and a senior captain, I had a rotating responsibility for the nuclear codebook, kept in the safe in the operations room of the lead amphibious squadron command ship. I shared that duty with another captain, a squared-away young man, liked by all he commanded and the son of a very high-ranking Marine. . . .

Against all regulations, the codebook had been out of the safe and unattended. It mattered not…

Is this in the future of NH’s cities of Manchester and Nashua?

international-institute-of-nh-logo-manchester-nh-300x71Shot:

The International Institute of New Hampshire’s proposed caseload is for 225 individuals – 170 individuals or 25-35 families in Manchester, and 55 individuals or 10-15 families in Nashua. Ascentria Community Service’s [ formerly known as Lutheran Social Services; guess they “burnt” that name out like Progressives did with Liberals -Skip] proposed caseload is 270 individuals: 135 individuals or 30-35 families in Concord, and 135 individuals or 30-35 families in Nashua.

Cities and towns cannot block federal refugee resettlement, just as they are prohibited from restricting people of any race or ethnicity from moving into town.

Guess what you get to look forward to!

The Clintons – In Their Own Words

Hillary Clinton’s Values are Maggie Hassan’s Values

Maggie Hassan - I know a Secret...
I also take illegal contributions–until I get caught,  and make taxpayers pay for my campaign security.

New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan faithfully supports Hillary Clinton. What does that mean?

Maggie supports cheating on your spouse often and terrorizing his conquests after; even ignoring sexual assault and accusations of rape, while actively trying to destroy women with the help of the federal government and the national media, all in the name of protecting and securing your abuse of political power.
