The Russian Foreign Ministry Has Some Words for The Obama Deep State and the US Media

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova

From a “Briefing by Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova, Moscow, March 23, 2017” in which she takes a shot at Democrats in the US over the practice/accusations of leaking information.

This is the 5th question asked of her by the media (link above), second-to-last paragraph.

Also, I would like to say that if the practice of leaking information that concerns not just the United States but also Russia, which has become a tradition in Washington in the past few years, continues, there will come a day when the media will publish leaks about the things that Washington asked us to keep secret, for example, things that happened during President Obama’s terms in office. Believe me, this could be very interesting information.

She also questioned CNN’s Reputation.

Trump EO Will Kill Obama’s Clean Power Plan

Today Mr. Trump is scheduled to sign an order to alter or eliminate job-killing Obama-Era Executive Orders on energy including the Clean Power Plan. The upcoming order goes even farther than axing the CPP, according to Bloomberg’s Jennifer Dlouhy, who got a sneak peek at Tuesday’s order. Here’s what it does: Orders EPA to review and “if … Read more

A Long Look At The Changing Global Oil Market

This is a long read, but if you’d like a (somewhat) independent view of the effects of Trump-inspired infrastructure build outs in the US and the changing geopolitics of oil, this article will provide a good overview. If you’d prefer the synopsis, there’s this. To sum up, oil prices stand neither to go up or down … Read more

Blogline of the Day – Allahu Akbar or Merry Christmas??

Bill Maher’s Classic Putdown of Islamist Apologists “Every time some bomb goes off, before it goes off, somebody yells ‘Allahu Akbar!’ I never hear anybody go ‘Merry Christmas! This one’s for the flying nun!’” I don’t agree with Maher on most things, but that’s funny right there! (H/T: Instapundit)

Really, this is all that it would take – quick, simple, and to the point

“Effective as of Dec. 31, 2017, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is repealed, and the provisions of law amended or repealed by such Act are restored or revived as if such Act had not been enacted,” the bill states.

None of that pussy footing around, no politicalese, fulfill’s a campaign promise in fullness – and no “hiding the boots” in arcane language that makes a bill appear to be something that it is not (which last week’s Republican debacle of a process and bill did).

Thank you, US Rep Mo Brooks (Alabama-R), for showing us that less is certainly far more.

(H/T: RedState)

Note:  Are the Establishment Republicans trying to play a shill game with us?

In 2015, Congress passed Obamacare repeal. Now, a replica bill has sat unaddressed in committee since

Voter Fraud – Brought to you by the Nebraska State Democrats

voterfraudAnd rather blatant about it, too – they video’d themselves urging recent refugees to commit Voter Fraud by including voter registration forms.  Which, if they are really recent, deserving of a “Welcome to Nebraska, courtesy of the Nebraska Democrats.  Once again, proving to the rest of us, that the insurge of refugees and illegal aliens, does not come from the “goodness of their hearts”.  Nope, nosirree!  With these Progressives / incremental Socialists are all politics all the time – they DO see these folks as fresh meat for votes.  After all (reformatted :

The inclusion of a voter registration form in a “welcome” gift basket designed for refugee families is eyebrow-raising. Individuals with refugee status in the United States are only allowed to naturalize after they spend a minimum of five years in the U.S. and obtain permanent residence (a green card). But presumably, individuals who accept a “welcome” basket are new arrivals to the U.S. and have not met the requirements to become citizens. They would be ineligible to register to vote. Unfortunately, these requirements do not always stop voter fraud from occurring.

So why does Government hate on small business?

“Small businesses employ over 57 million Americans. And yet, the government’s taxes and regulations overwhelmingly favor big businesses at the expense of small ones. Why? Find out in this short video.” Hint: go ask your Democrat Federal office holder why – watch them bend like a pretzal. (H/T: Liberty Unyielding)

Data Point: Heinlein’s “Bad Luck” – a reminder

“Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as … Read more

Why The Cheshire County Sheriff Did Not just Create a Sanctuary County in New Hampshire

Eli RiveraCheshire County New Hampshire Sheriff Eli Rivera announced this week that his office would not conduct raids for Federal immigration officials. So has Cheshire declared itself a sanctuary County? Hardly.

In the context of the illegal immigration debate a sanctuary town, city, county, or state is a place that will not actively pursue illegal immigrants for deportation, period. But Rivera never says this. He merely points out that he will not enter into any agreement with the feds to do their job for them.

Any representative of ICE requesting our assistance must have an active criminal warrant issued by a judge or must be actively pursuing a criminal investigation that relates to public safety for us to participate.

Reminder: The 45 Declared Goals of Communism in America

Homo MarxianThe 45 Declared Goals are required reading (and sharing) for anyone who wants to suggest to someone that the Left isn’t just winging it.

[From “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen – 1963]

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [“]united force[“] to solve economic, political or social problems.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

GT Flashback April 5th, 2014

Listen to “GT Flashback April 5th, 2014” on Spreaker. Congressional candidate Marilinda Garcia joins us to talk Millennials. Jack Biltis, President of TAG Employer Services, talks about the regulatory state. Then Mike Rogers calls in from the CCDL gun rights rally in Connecticut.

When right and wrong are ephemeral and only depends on the moment…

“If there is no God, urder isn’t wrong”

Is murder wrong? How do you know? In this video (below), Dennis Prager shows why, unless there is a God who says murder is wrong, believing murder is immoral is, well, just an opinion.

And what happens when entire societies stop believing in God? As Dennis explains, the 20th century provides some tragic answers.

Those societies that have “thrown of” God and religion – how have they fared?  Those that have made The State their religion, their God?  Not so much.  We see that now in the US where being a Christian, whose values are absolute (or supposed to be, anyways), instead of the relativism that Progressives, Socialist, and Cultural Marxists peddle, know what right and wrong are even if they do not practice what they profess.

An interesting thought – Striking down Trump’s immigration EO kill off Obamacare’s contraceptive mandate?

Justice unblindedHas the Left sprung its own trap on its own feet that it didn’t know it laid all by themselves?  Remember all of the angst when Obama’s HHS decided that an “essential healthcare plan” had to include free contraceptives which also includes abortifacients?  Several organizations sued that it violated their First Amendment rights including Hobby Lobby.  Yet, Obama persisted and went after a most Catholic organization that protested that their religious beliefs said that abortion was murder – and Obama said that was not a religious stance that mattered?

Back to the “hoisted on his own petard” phrase (even as I bet that new HHS ” the Secretary shall” Tom Price may decide that regulation be pulled (reformatted, emphasis mine)?

Liberal Judges Unwittingly Declare ObamaCare Religious Mandate Unconstitutional

They don’t realize it, but liberals have just declared that Obama’s HHS mandate — which forced Catholics to cooperate with providing abortion and contraception — is unconstitutional. The new interpretation of the Establishment Clause espoused by the activist judges who are striking down Trump’s EO is that anything that has a disparate impact on a religious group is unconstitutional.

The rulings by activist judges declaring Trump’s EO on immigration to be unconstitutional were based on arguments that if the EO/law had a disparate impact on any faith, or that if the person behind the EO/law ever said anything that could be construed to violate the new liberal interpretation of the establishment clause, then the EO/law in question was unconstitutional.

Notable Quote – F.A. Hayek and Don Boudreaux

The curious task of economics is to demonstrate to men how little they really know about what they imagine they can design.  To the naive mind that can conceive of order only as the product of deliberate arrangement, it may seem absurd that in complex conditions order, and adaptation to the unknown, can be achieved more effectively by decentralizing decisions and that a division of authority will actually extend the possibility of overall order.  Yet that decentralization actually leads to more information being taken into account.

-Prof F.A. Hayek

In response, a bit of amplification by Prof. Boudreaux:

Hayek’s great lesson is that each of us, individually, can know only an infinitesimally small amount of the knowledge the full use of which is required for any great and prosperous civilization to exist – but

What Domicile Does One Use For An Unlawful Election At A Postponed Meeting?

vote1I have had the pleasure of watching an attorney from the New Hampshire Municipal Association (aka – Local Government Center) conclude that various annual meetings in NH were lawfully postponed by various moderators because of a snow storm. The NHMA counsel is using RSA 40:4.

The NH Secretary of State takes issue with the NHMA (aka – Siphoned millions, unlawfully from municipalities insurance sold through their exclusive state monopoly) telling municipalities that it is unlawful to postpone a meeting that includes an election by ballot. The SoS is using RSA Chapter 654.

Right up front, I can admit I don’t trust either of these guys.

Notable Quote – US Rep. Joe Barton

Reporters asked why, after Republicans held dozens of nearly-unanimous votes to repeal ObamaCare under President Obama, they were getting cold feet now that they control the levers of power. “Sometimes you’re playing Fantasy Football and sometimes you’re in the real game,” he admitted. “We knew the President [Obama – Skip], if we could get a … Read more
