Dear Friends –
As you may know, service and sacrifice for our nation is something that’s deeply personal to me. It is more than just wearing a uniform. Our nation’s Purple Heart recipients are a community of heroes bound together by the scars, both physical and emotional they carry as a result of their service.
We want to thank Don Bolduc for this Op-Ed. Please submit yours to Editor@GraniteGrok.com.
Their stories need to be told and they deserve to know America remembers their sacrifice.
Today, I’m writing to ask for your support for a special program that pays tribute to their contribution to American freedom.
Later this year, the National Purple Heart Honor Mission, a fantastic nonprofit organization devoted to paying tribute to our Purple Heart recipients, will be hosting their 2023 Purple Heart Patriot Project Mission. This unique event brings together Purple Heart honorees from across the nation for an all-expenses-paid trip to visit the historic birthplace of the Purple Heart, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the deeply moving National Purple Heart Hall of Honor, and other historic sites associated with the Purple Heart.
We want to thank Don Bolduc for this Op-Ed. If you have an Op-Ed or LTE

These emotional Patriot Project missions provide a unique opportunity for our Purple Heart heroes to connect with each other, share their stories, create new bonds and experience the appreciation of a grateful nation. Honorees have called it “a trip of a lifetime,” and “the homecoming we never had.”
Each Patriot Project mission costs about $250,000. That’s why I’m asking you to join me in helping make this happen for our Purple Heart heroes by CLICKING HERE and donating today.
My words cannot truly reflect the profound impact these events have on our heroes. Click here to see for yourself how these missions impact our Purple Heart recipients and hear first-hand the stories of valor they share on these missions. I need your help to ensure this mission is funded.
For more than 25 years the National Purple Heart Honor Mission has been dedicated to paying tribute to our nation’s combat wounded through special outreach and educational programs. The organization was the driving force behind the establishment and later the expansion of the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor, it played a significant role in the creation of the Purple Heart Forever stamp and in 2020, they led the effort to pass through Congress the creation of the nation’s first U.S. Minted coins honoring our Purple Heart heroes.
They need your help today. Please give our heroes an incredible salute to their service and sacrifice. Donate today to support the 2023 Purple Heart Patriot Project by visiting www.PurpleHeartMission.org.
Sincerely,
Brigadier General Donald C. Bolduc (USA Ret.)
