School administrators across New Hampshire are providing sensitive mental health information to Keene State /Behavior Health Improvement Institute. For more information, go here.
Why is BHII collecting mental health personally identifiable information on public school students? What are they doing with the PII? Who has access to this information? In Lisa Logan’s article, SEL + ESG = Social Credit System, knowing who has access to your child’s mental health records is important–especially since students and parents did NOT consent to any of this.
Prior to Keene State accessing this data, Plymouth State and Antioch University was gathering mental health data on students in New Hampshire. This has been happening for years without any parents knowing or consenting. But did you know that this information can be shared with the federal government?
The student privacy law school administrators cite when it’s convenient for them, has a large gaping loophole that allows district administrators to open up the gates of data-mining without your knowledge or consent. Once that information is disclosed to organizations like BHII, they can then re-disclose this information without your knowledge or consent. . All personally identifiable information on education records (mental health, psychological records collected at school)) can be re-disclosed to federal data warehouse NCES/IES because of the Obama Executive Order, EO 12866, that allows personally identifiable information to be released to the National Center for Education Statistics/IES and outside 3rd party vendors.
Who will have access to your child’s mental health records without your knowledge or consent?
That’s what I’m trying to find out. I sent a Right to Know Request to BHII, and The New Hampshire Department of Education. I want to know who has access to these records.
If and when I get some answers, I will be posting that information here. Please stay tuned. There is more disturbing information coming!!
In the meantime, I would suggest that EVERYONE who reads this article, contact Commissioner Edelblut, and the elected officials below. Tell them that parents deserve answers. Why did BHII ask for mental health PII, and who has access to it?
Re FW Request for informationIt’s important that everyone demand some answers. Just about every ethical code governing mental health professionals requires informed consent before disclosing mental health PII. What is going on in our schools? This violates The New Hampshire Constitution, and our right to privacy!
If you are reading this article, and you live in the state of New Hampshire, YOU NEED TO SEND an email to our elected representatives asking them to demand some answers!
Send an email to all of these people, and let them know that you are aware of the data mining going on in our schools! Let them know we demand answers. Who is accessing personally identifiable mental health information on students in our schools?
