I’ll go find his tweets but now that the DNC has made their final ruling, Ray Buckley will forever be known as the Chair that lost the First In the Nation Primary for NH Democrats. Go Ray!
And his immutable characteristics didn’t help at all – with the Democrats idiotic obsession that someone is no better than their skin color, this guy’s gay identity couldn’t hack the heavy lift over color of pallor. And the entire Democrat Federal coven (two Senators, two Representatives), having seen the writing on the wall that said “Strong Horse? Nay (smirk), just a little pony now”), have only given him the support that could be kindly called “limp”.
Have I piled on enough yet? Spotlighted his culpability yet? No one else is blaming him – especially himself and for the policies / philosophies of the Democrat Party that led to this.
I am not privy to the internal politics of the NH Democrat Party but from the outside, it really seems like he’s almost past desperate and dispirited and reaching depressed. Or dejected at his fate. No amount of pontificating that “we will always be the First In The Nation” rings hollow if everyone at the DNC is shrugging their shoulders with the thought “yeah, without delegates and 100 pound hammers over any candidate’s head in disobeying us”, Buckley only has a self-serving “We’ll always be First!” echoing the White Mountain range – no one in DC can hear it…
…or cares.
