On January 17th,2023, I published an historic interview entitled “An “interview” with Margaret Sanger on DOBBS V. JACKSON(ABORTION). There were a few problems (sanger died years ago), but despite that minor glitch, the interview was a rousing success.
The number of likes reached an all-time record (3 versus the previous record of 1-thanks, mom!). My phone was ringing off the hook (not really-cell phones don’t work t like that, but it sounds good, eh?).
I received laudatory comments like ” incredible!” “mystifying,” “ostentatious.”
As a result, I have commissioned BUZZ BUZBY to do a follow-up interview. Let’s join him now as he enters Margaret Sanger’s offices:
BUZZ: “Evening folks. Glad to have you aboard. Unfortunately, due to the short notice I received for this interview, I was not able to contact the subject ahead of time. I just decided to show up her, at her offices and see if I cannot get an interview. I can see into her front office thru the glass doors, but so far, I have not seen Margaret. I do see somebody, though. Let’s just go in and try to get lucky.”
PEDRO JUAN TON: “May I help you?”
BUZZ: I sure hope so. I am BUZZ BUZBY from radio WTF here to interview Margaret.
PEDRO JUAN TON: Very Sorry. She is not here. She had an emergency and had to leave.
BUZZ: Really? Wow. too bad for me. What kind of Emergency?
PEDRO JUAN TON: I am not sure I can tell you. I can only say that she is the President and founding member of the “LOOK AT THE PRETTY BALLOON” Society. She and her two fellow members were off to South Carolina to grieve over the loss of the Chinese weather balloon. Can you believe that our horrible government shot down such a beautiful balloon? My friends back home are so upset. It just defies belief what has happened.
BUZZ: My condolences. It is horrible. I heard that Joe Biden was particularly distressed over the loss of the balloon. Somebody said he found out it was in Montana, and he flew there so he could run and jump and play with it–like at his birthday party.
PEDRO JUAN TON: I KNOW! THE HONORED LEADER EVEN TOLD THE MILITARY THAT THEY WERE GIVING US A BALLOON LIKE AN ADULT GIVING A BALLOON TO A SMALL CHILD. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO SHOOT IT DOWN? THEY RUINED EVERYTHING? POOR, POOR JOE!
BUZZ: Say-you seem like a really smart person. Do you work here? Can we interview you on the Dobbs decision?
PEDRO JUAN TON: Interview me? Sure. I am a law student, you know, out in California. That is such a wonderful place. My dad was from Mexico and was trying to cross the border to seek asylum. My mom was from China. She was a corporal in the “PEOPLES ARMY” and was sent to the border to cross over to spy on the U.S. to get top secret info on chicken eggs production. Trump was President, and he instituted the stay in Mexico program, so they had to spend over a year in a five-star hotel-paid for by the U. N. When they finally got permission to enter, I paid them each $5000 to say I was their child so that I could enter too. I wanted to be a lawyer, but I flunked the exam in my native Peru. California allows illegals to become lawyers. I KNOW I CAN PASS NEXT YEAR–MY FRIENDS IN THE BLOODY CRYPTO GANG SAID THEY WOULD ARRANGE IT.
BUZZ: Great. What do you know about Dobbs? Have you read it?
PEDRO JUAN TON: Read it? Naw. But I read your article. Isn’t that good enough?
BUZZ: ABSOLUTELY. What I really want to ask is-has Margaret’s predictions come true? Have the states enacted laws allowing unlimited abortions?
PEDRO JUAN TON: Gotcha. Funny but I know the answer to that. I am working here for Margaret as an intern, but she pays zero. So, I got a job as an “ABORTION TRAVEL AGENT.” Business is booming. My employer provides me with up-to-date advisory on where people can go to get the abortion they need. They got a great motto: “WORK ON THAT TAN, WHILE WE WORK ON YOUR FIGURE.”
BUZZ: SO, TELL ME- What is your number 1 destination? I bet it’s California.
PEDRO JUAN TON: Good guess, but nope. They do have great weather, but actually, the best and easiest place to get an abortion in Minnesota. They have zero limits on abortion. You can get your abortion anytime, anyplace (in Minnesota), from anyone you want. The Government cannot stop you. Your parents cannot stop you. Your husband cannot stop you. Here is what the Minnesota law says:
“145:409 REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH RIGHTS
SUBD 3 REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM(a) Every individual has a fundamental right to make autonomous decisions about the individual’s own reproductive health, including the fundamental right to use or refuse reproductive health care.
(b)Every individual who becomes pregnant has a fundamental right to continue the pregnancy and give birth or obtain an abortion and to make autonomous decisions about how to exercise this fundamental right.
SUBD 5. LOCAL UNIT OF GOVERNMENT LIMITATION A local unit of government may not regulate an individual’s ability to freely exercise the fundamental rights set forth in this section in a manner that is more restrictive than that set forth in this section.”
Understand what this means: there are no Government or society-imposed limits on abortion. A woman who is pregnant (actually, it says an individual who is pregnant to accommodate our Trannie friends) can have her abortion right up to and including the moment of birth. Actually, even birth is not a limit.
Consider: suppose the pregnant “individual “has a spouse who is a biological parent. Too bad. That person has no rights to the child and can do nothing to interfere with the pregnant person’s decision to abort.
Consider: The pregnant person is 14. It’s her third abortion. Her parents have no right to know or to consent to the abortion. Moreover, under recent rules issued by the federal Department of Education, the pregnant student has absolute confidentiality, has a right to counseling, an attorney if needed, and her abortion must be funded by her health insurance without notice to her parents.
Justice Alito said that any state law with any reasonable basis will be upheld. He even said the “health ” of the mother is a reasonable basis. The Minnesota law specifically says that abortion is “REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH.”
BUZZ: Interesting. But how does a young lady – excuse me, an individual -in, say, New Hampshire who is 40 weeks pregnant get access to this abortion in Minnesota?
PEDRO JUAN TON: Easy. That is my business. I can get her an all expenses included three nite stay at a luxury hotel, arrange the medical appointments, and even put a chocolate on her pillow at nite. I can even arrange payment if she cannot or does not want to use her credit card. How? I won’t disclose my sources, but let me just say that the first place to check is her employer, as a lot of them pay the entire sum. If that fails, then…well, again, I cannot say, but if you look at who contributes to PLANNED PARENTHOOD, HERE IS WHAT IS REPORTED: As of January 2018, Planned Parenthood had $1.8 billion in assets. It did an average of 312,000 abortions a year. It received over $500 million from the government and another $500-600 million from private donors:
FROM 2010 to 2013 WARREN BUFFET (THRU HIS SUSAN BARRET FOUNDATION) GAVE $231 MILLION.
WILLIAM AND FLORA HEWLETT FOUNDATION: $ 22.8 MILLION (2010-2013)
OPEN SOCIETY INSTITUTE (GEORGE SOROS): $18,3 MILLION. (2010-2013)
PACKARD FOUNDATIION: $14.7 MILLION (2010-2013)
BILL AND MELINDA GATES FOUNDATION: $14.521 MILLION (2010-2013)
I am not saying these folks fund …
… trips. I am just saying I can find the money.
Oops! I forgot. A group called “ACCESS Reproductive Justice” and “National Network of Abortion Funds “say they will pay all travel expenses. I am sure there are others, but I am still working on that.
BUZZ: WELL, Minnesota is still kind of far away. Anything closer to New Hampshire?
PEDRO JUAN TON: You betcha! Vermont has almost identical laws.
HERE IS WHAT VERMONT PROVIDES:
On November 8, 2022, VERMONT VOTERS, by more than a 3 to 1 margin, approved “Proposal 5,” which provides an amendment-adding article 22- to the Vermont constitution. It says almost the same thing as Minnesota:
“THAT AN INDIVIDUAL’S RIGHT TO PERSONAL REPRODUCTIVE AUTONOMY IS CENTRAL TO THE LIBERTY AND DIGNITY TO DETERMINE ONE’S OWN LIFE COURSE AND SHALL NOT BE DENIED OR INFRINGED UNLESS JUSTIFIED BY A COMPELLING STATE INTEREST ACHIEVED BY THE LEAST RESTRICTIVE MEANS.”
The Vermont law, like the Minnesota law, gives total control over the decision for abortion to the one pregnant: the father has no say; the parents have no rights-even to be notified. There is an appearance of a restriction at the end. The state can try to challenge the decision to abort, but it must show a very high burden, ” A COMPELLING STATE INTEREST”. Such a result is like the chances of winning the super-lotto.
Want to know about CALIFORNIA?
In California, a pregnant person has total autonomy to have an abortion up to the point of “viability,” which the aborting Doctor must decide. Viability means that the child could live outside the womb.
It’s totally subjective, but even that can be skirted if the aborting doctor determines that the continued pregnancy adversely affects the life or the health-including mental health -of the one pregnant.
New York has pretty much the same laws.
Not to worry. My travel agency can counsel any client on how to state the health problems of the pregnancy and can find the right doctor. It costs a little more, but I think I can get anyone an abortion anytime during their pregnancy.
The nice thing about California is that they advertise nationally for abortion clients. They will provide abortions to anyone-nonresidents, even illegal aliens. They can arrange payment for all transportation costs-food, lodging, transportation, and even childcare-take a look at their advertising program.
BUZZ: Fascinating. Just one more question. Should people from a state that outlaws abortion be afraid of going for an abortion in another state? I mean, if New Hampshire says it’s a crime to have an abortion after 24 weeks, what happens to a resident of Manchester who goes to Vermont and aborts at 25 weeks? Or 40 weeks?
Pedro Juan Ton: I am not a lawyer yet, so I cannot give legal advice. I would just say: Go look at the New Hampshire law-it does impose a criminal penalty-a class B felony- but on the HEALTH CARE WORKER doing the abortion. It is silent on criminal charges against the pregnant person.
RSA 329:46 provides that any “HEALTH CARE PROVIDER” (WHO KNOWINGLY VIOLATES NEW HAMPSHIRE LAW RE ABORTION) IS GUILTY OF A CLASS B FELONY.
Sooo… I don’t see where it is crime under this statute for a pregnant person to go cross state lines to Vermont to affect an abortion. But, if you are worried, California and probably every one of the states I referenced will hook you up with a free lawyer to answer your questions and help you skirt any state laws. JUST CALL THE ACLU.
BUZZ: WOW! THANK YOU. YOU HAVE BEEN TERRIFIC. Please give my best to Margaret. I guess she was right. Looks like we can rest easy tonight knowing that somewhere out there, Judge Alito’s dream of STATES’ RIGHTS ON ABORTION is saving the life of some PREGNANT PERSON WHO WOKE UP AFTER 9 MONTHS TO SAVE HERSELF FROM DIAPERS, VOMIT, AND MIDNITE FEEDINGS.
GOD BLESS!
