Grokster Mike traveled up to Laconia and I joined him at Bernini’s (1135 Union Ave) for a campaign rally by the Don Bolduc for US Senate campaign. Accompanying him was former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard who just left the Democrat Party. During the rally, this Lt. Colonel endorse The General whole heartedly as a man of integrity who should retired Maggie “The Red” Hassan. That video I have not yet processed.
However, as Mike had run into the Gabbard staff earlier in the day, and had interviewed her a few years ago, her staff reached out (via the Bolduc campaign) to see if we’ be interested in a quick interview afterwards (their next stop was in Conway so it would be a quick interview). We agreed no more than 5 minutes so it was actually longer than many of our “Micro-Interviews” of the past.
We found her gracious and well spoken. While we may not see eye-to-eye on a lot of her stances, the ones she mentioned we nodded our heads on – important issues. And yes, she was an “interesting person” to talk with even if only for 5 minutes. I’m betting she’ll be returning soon as she figures out what that “orbit” will be.
